Ayrılık Çeşmesi (Istanbul Metro)

Ayrılık Çeşmesi railway station (Turkish: Ayrılık Çeşmesi istasyonu) is situated along the newly built Trans-Bosphorus Marmaray tunnel. The station is located right outside the Asian portal of the tunnel and is the current eastern terminus of the line. The TCDD Taşımacılık operates commuter trains from Ayrılık Çeşmesi to Kazlıçeşme within 6- to 10-minute intervals. Connection to the M4 station of the Istanbul Metro is available. Ayrılık Çeşmesi saw over 1.5 million boardings in October 2017, making it the second busiest station on the Marmaray line and constituting for 26% of all passenger boardings.

The shopping mall consists of 130 stores on three floors, a department store and Carrefour supermarket. The food court hosts 16 restaurants and cafes.

Kadıköy (Turkish pronunciation: [ˈkadɯcœj] (listen)), known in classical antiquity and during the Roman and Byzantine eras as Chalcedon (Greek: Χαλκηδών), is a large, populous, and cosmopolitan district in the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey, on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara. It partially faces the historic city centre of Fatih on the European side of the Bosporus. Kadıköy is also the name of the most prominent neighbourhood of the district, a residential and commercial area that, with its numerous bars, cinemas and bookshops, is the cultural centre of the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Kadıköy became a district in 1928 when it was separated from Üsküdar district. The neighbourhoods of İçerenköy, Bostancı and Suadiye were also separated from the district of Kartal in the same year, and eventually joined the newly formed district of Kadıköy. Its neighbouring districts are Üsküdar to the northwest, Ataşehir to the northeast, Maltepe to the southeast, and Kartal beyond Maltepe.

Haydarpaşa Cemetery, also known as Haidar Pasha Cemetery, Istanbul, (Turkish: Haydarpaşa İngiliz Mezarlığı), located in the Haydarpaşa neighborhood of Üsküdar district in the Asian part of Istanbul, Turkey, is a burial ground established initially for British military personnel who took part in the Crimean War (1854–1856). The cemetery holds also graves of Commonwealth soldiers from the two World Wars, and civilians of British nationality.

The Karacaahmet Cemetery (Turkish: Karacaahmet Mezarlığı) is a 700-year-old historic cemetery, located in Üsküdar, the Asian side of Istanbul. Karacaahmet cemetery is the oldest in Istanbul and at 750 acres (3.0 km2), the largest burial ground in Turkey. The cemetery was named after a warrior companion of Orhan I, the second Ottoman sultan and is believed to have been founded in the mid-14th century. It is estimated that over a million people are interred in the non-profit cemetery.Karacaahmet Cemetery comprises 12 parcels, each dedicated to different religious groups. Many historical headstones can still be seen with inscriptions written in the Ottoman Turkish alphabet, a version of the Arabic alphabet. The burial ground is covered by high cypress trees.The shrine of Karaca Ahmet Sultan, a 13th-century physician and saint of Bektashis, a tariqah of Islam, is situated within the cemetery. There are also many other historical tombs and masjids, which is the Arabic word for mosques, built during the Ottoman period. The excavation works in the tunnel for the Marmaray project caused little damage as by June 2007, a dent of 1.5 m diameter and 4 m depth occurred close to the cemetery wall. It was reported that some graves were damaged.
