Mannington Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 1,475, a decrease of 331 (−18.3%) from the 2010 census count of 1,806, which in turn reflected an increase of 247 (+15.8%) from the 1,559 counted in the 2000 census.

Barrett's Plantation House is a historic home and bed and breakfast at 203 Old Kings Highway in Mannington Township, New Jersey. The original portion of the home was built in 1735 which includes a sitting room and dining room on the first floor, two guest rooms — the Dickinson Suite and the Morris Suite—on the second floor and the garret on the third floor. A kitchen was built onto the rear of the original structure in the mid-1800s, then the back section, consisting of a modern kitchen and owner's suite on the upper floor was built in 1991.

Pennsville Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The township is named for William Penn. The township includes the state's westernmost point. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 12,684, a decrease of 725 (−5.4%) from the 2010 census count of 13,409, which in turn reflected an increase of 215 (+1.6%) from the 13,194 counted in the 2000 census.The township had the 24th-highest property tax rate in New Jersey, with an equalized rate of 4.285% in 2020, compared to 3.476% in the county as a whole and a statewide average of 2.279%. The township, and all of Salem County, is part of South Jersey and of the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Camden, PA-NJ-DE-MD combined statistical area, also known as the Delaware Valley or Philadelphia metropolitan area.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 11,888.Pennsville CDP and Pennsville Township are not coextensive, with the CDP covering 42.4% of the 24.588 miles (39.571 km) of the township as a whole.

Carneys Point Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 8,637, an increase of 588 (+7.3%) from the 2010 census count of 8,049, which in turn reflected an increase of 365 (+4.8%) from the 7,684 counted in the 2000 census.Upper Penns Neck Township was formed on July 10, 1721, when Penn's Neck Township was subdivided and Lower Penns Neck Township (now Pennsville Township) was also formed. The township was incorporated by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798, as one of New Jersey's original group of 104 townships. Portions of the township were taken to form Oldmans Township (February 7, 1881) and Penns Grove borough (March 8, 1894). The township was renamed Carneys Point Township based on the results of a Township meeting held on November 10, 1976, after voters approved a referendum held eight days earlier.

Deepwater is an unincorporated community located within Pennsville Township, in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is located at the east end of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Deepwater is the location of the United States Postal Service area covering ZIP code 08023. At the 2000 census, the ZCTA had a population of 345. While the Census Bureau does not track data for ZIP codes, it does gather information for the ZIP Code Tabulation Area (ZCTA), which is designed to approximate the ZIP code. All geographic and Demographic data shown below is for the Deepwater ZCTA. The community lends its name to the Deepwater Point Running Track, a Conrail line that runs for 3.7 miles (6.0 km) as a continuation of the Penns Grove Secondary.

Pilesgrove Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 4,183, an increase of 167 (+4.2%) from the 2010 census count of 4,016, which in turn reflected an increase of 93 (+2.4%) from the 3,923 counted in the 2000 census.Pile's Grove was first mentioned in a deed dated April 15, 1701, through the date of the township's original corporation is unknown. Pilesgrove was incorporated as one of New Jersey's original group of 104 townships that were established on February 21, 1798. Portions of the township were taken on December 6, 1769, to form Pittsgrove Township and on July 26, 1882, to create Woodstown. The township was named for Thomas Pyle.In 1979, Pilesgrove Township enacted the state's first right-to-farm law, protecting farming as a "natural right hereby ordained to exist as a permitted use everywhere in the Township of Pilesgrove."

Penns Neck is a cape, or headland, extending into the Delaware River and is located in Pennsville Township, Salem County, New Jersey. The area was named after William Penn.
