Baptistown is an unincorporated community located within Kingwood Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. Baptistown is located on New Jersey Route 12, approximately three miles (4.8 km) east of Frenchtown. The township's municipal offices are located in Baptistown just north of the center of the community.

The Kingwood Township School District is a community public school district that serves students ranging from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Kingwood Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 328 students and 33.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.9:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. The Thatcher House is a historic brick house located in Kingwood Township, about two miles from Frenchtown, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It is named after Jeremiah Thatcher (d. 1790), a local farmer. Built in 1765, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 4, 2020, for its significance in architecture. It features patterned brickwork with complex diamonds.

The Old Stone Church is a historic sandstone church located in Kingwood Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It was built in 1837 and is now owned by the First Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hunterdon County. The church, described using its historic name, Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Kingwood, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 25, 2018 for its significance in architecture. The earlier church located here was a smaller stone building built in 1755, called the Old Stone Meetinghouse. The stones from this church were probably used to build the current one. The Kingwood congregation was established in 1728 and grew during the First Great Awakening, with Gilbert Tennent and George Whitefield preaching here in 1739.The Oak Summit School, located next to the church, is a one-room schoolhouse that was established in 1849 and used until 1953. The building is not part of this NRHP listing.

Kingwood Township is a township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, located on the Hunterdon Plateau. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 3,802, a decrease of 43 (−1.1%) from the 2010 census count of 3,845, which in turn reflected an increase of 63 (+1.7%) from the 3,782 counted in the 2000 census.

Delaware Valley Regional High School is a regional, four-year public high school and school district, that serves students in western Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The high school is located in Alexandria Township. Students hail from the townships of Alexandria, Holland and Kingwood along with the boroughs of Frenchtown and Milford.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 719 students and 62.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.5:1. There were 32 students (4.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 12 (1.7% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings. Frenchtown is a borough in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Frenchtown is located along the banks of the Delaware River on the Hunterdon Plateau, 32 miles (51 km) northwest of the state capital of Trenton. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,370, a decrease of three people (−0.2%) from the 2010 census count of 1,373, which in turn reflected a decline of 115 (−7.7%) from the 1,488 counted in the 2000 census.

St. Thomas Episcopal Church is a historic church in Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey near Pittstown and is one of the oldest churches in the county. The present church replaced a log or frame church that was built as early as the 1720s. That church was replaced in 1768 by the present church's stone walls, though the church was not completed until after the American Revolution, c. 1790. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 21, 1977, for its significance in architecture and religion. The church was featured as a set in Sarah Jessica Parker's movie debut, the 1983 film Somewhere Tomorrow.

Lockatong Creek is a 15.6-mile-long (25.1 km) tributary of the Delaware River in Hunterdon County, New Jersey in the United States.Lockatong is derived of a Munsee phrase — lokatink, or “place of wheat meal".

Everittstown (also known as Everitts Town) is an unincorporated community located within Alexandria Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The Everittstown Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Locktown Baptist Church is a historic church in Locktown (Delaware Township), Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1819 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 15, 1974.
