The Wilfred X. Johnson House is a historic house at 206 Tower Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. Built in 1928, it was the home from 1966 until his death the home of Wilfred X. Johnson (1920–1972), the state's first African-American state representative. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The M. Swift and Sons Company is a historic industrial complex at 10 and 60 Love Lane in Hartford, Connecticut. Established around 1887, it was the home of one of the nation's most successful manufacturers of gold leaf by the process of goldbeating. The complex, including both industrial and residential components, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Cricket Hall of Fame is an attraction located in Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.A.. Founded in 1980, it is the first international cricket hall of fame in the world. Every year it hosts an induction ceremony on first Saturday of October, drawing inductees from around the world. Inductees are selected for two categories: players of distinction or someone who has done something to advance the sport of cricket. The Cricket Hall of Fame is supported by the Sportsmen's Athletic Club of Hartford, Connecticut. (Since 1963)The Cricket Hall of Fame Museum houses many historical cricket artifacts donated by past inductees and supporters. Items include trophies, uniforms, equipment, books, photographs and articles that demonstrate the history of the sport over time.

The Capen-Clark Historic District encompasses a residential neighborhood area in the North End of Hartford, Connecticut. Centered on Capen Street between Main and Enfield Streets, it contains a cross-section of post-Civil War Victorian vernacular housing styles, and shows in its development patterns the ebb and flow of the city's economy between about 1865 and 1910. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Keney Park Golf Course is a public golf course located in Hartford, Connecticut and Windsor, Connecticut within Hartford's Keney Park. The first nine holes were designed by eminent golf course architect Devereux Emmet in 1927, with the remaining nine made by City of Hartford engineer Robert ”Jack” Ross in 1931.

The Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church (also known as North Methodist Episcopal Church) is a historic Methodist Episcopal Church at 2051 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut. This High Victorian Gothic structure was built in 1873-74 for an Episcopal congregation, and has since 1926 been the home to the city's oldest African-American congregation, which was established in 1833. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Windsor Avenue Congregational Church is a historic church at 2030 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut. The brick Romanesque Revival-style church building, completed in 1872, now houses Faith Congregational Church, whose lineage includes the city's oldest African-American congregation, established in 1819. The church is a stop on the Connecticut Freedom Trail and was listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Spring Grove Cemetery is a cemetery on Main Street in the Clay-Arsenal neighborhood of Hartford, Connecticut. Established in 1845, it is one of the city's oldest cemeteries, and its first private non-sectarian cemetery. Its burials include a number of the city's high-profile civic and business leaders, as well as a substantial indigent population, and artist Frederic Edwin Church. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Hartford Correctional Center is one of 18 correctional facilities in Connecticut, United States. The correctional center is located in Hartford, Connecticut. The facility was opened in 1977, with its first warden being Richard Wezowicz. In March of 2016, the participatory budgeting organization Hartford Decide$ set up a voting location at the facility so inmates could vote on how the city's money is spent.Poet and former professor of English at Central Connecticut State University Ravi Shankar spent time at the facility, writing an op-ed about his experiences for the Hartford Courant.In 2017, Frontline and The New York Times collaborated on a PBS documentary called Life on Parole, which featured a former inmate of the correctional center, Errol Brantley, Jr., and his struggles while on parole.

The Mather Homestead is a historic house at 2 Mahl Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. Built about 1835, it is a rare surviving example of a 19th-century farmstead in the city. Its adaptive reuse over time is also indicative of the transformation of its surrounds by increasing urbanization. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is now home to a chapter of Masons.

The Union Baptist Church is a historic church at 1913 and 1921 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Originally built by an Episcopal congregation, it has for many years been home to an African-American Baptist congregation, which under the leadership of Rev. John C. Jackson (1866-1953), played a significant role in advancing the cause of civil rights in the state. The church, and its adjacent parsonage, were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Marietta Canty House is a historic house at 61 Mahl Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. Built about 1897, this Queen Anne style house is notable as the home of singer and African American activist Marietta Canty (1905–1986). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
