Courchavon (French pronunciation: [kuʁʃavɔ̃]) is a municipality in the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura in Switzerland.

Basse-Allaine is a municipality in the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. On 1 January 2009 the former municipalities of Buix, Courtemaîche and Montignez merged to form Basse-Allaine.The name refers to the river Allaine which runs through the municipality.

Chevenez is a village and former municipality in the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. Since 1 January 2009 it is a part of the new municipality Haute-Ajoie.

Porrentruy Castle is a castle in the municipality of Porrentruy of the Canton of Jura in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Construction of the castle took place between the mid-thirteenth century and the beginning of the eighteenth century. The oldest part is the thirteenth century Réfous Tower (Tour Réfous). Fourteenth century ramparts survive on the western and northern sides. Since 1271 belonging to the bishopric of Basel, the castle served as exile residence of the prince-bishops of Basel from 1527 until 1792. The bishops had been exiled from Basel during the Swiss Reformation in 1529, whereas they were able to keep most of their territories outside the city. At the beginning of the nineteenth century the Romanesque chapel within the castle walls was destroyed.

As of 2014, Banque Cantonale du Jura had 12 branches across Switzerland with 120 employees; total assets of the bank were 2 575.00 mln CHF. Saint-Charles International School is an international private boarding school located in Porrentruy, Ajoie, in the Swiss Canton of Jura.

The capture of Porrentruy was a siege of the Swiss town of Porrentruy. The town was held by Austria and attacked by the French. The event occurred on 28 April 1792 and resulted in victory for the French forces. This engagement marked the commencement of the War of the First Coalition.

The Swiss League is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was formerly called National League B. The league attendance in 2018–19 was about 2,700 spectators.
