Pusan National University station

Daedong College is a private technical college in Busan, the second-largest city in South Korea. Its campus lies in the district of Geumjeong-gu. About 50 instructors are employed. The current president is Kim Gyeong-hui (김경희).

Pusan National University (PNU), also called Busan National University, is one of ten Flagship Korean National Universities in South Korea. PNU is widely regarded as the No. 2 public university after Seoul National University amongst the Flagship Korean National Universities. It is the first national university established after the National Liberation Day of Korea. There are fours campuses of the university: Busan Campus, Ami Campus, Miryang Campus and Yangsan Campus. They are located in Busan (Korean: 부산; MR: Pusan) and South Gyeongsang Province.

Heosimcheong Spa (Korean: 허심청) is a spa 10 km north of Dongnae District, Busan, South Korea. It is said to be the largest hot spring fed spa in Asia.It has facilities to accommodate 3000 guests on five floors. Known to have been bathed in by kings of Silla (57 BCE – 935 CE), the spring has been developed into a 4,300 m2 urban complex with 4 million visits a year.The current building was completed in 1991. Segregated and largely duplicated by gender, facilities include hot, lukewarm and cool baths, fountains, saunas (including an "igloo" chilled to 0°C), mud baths, massage, exfoliation, and exercise rooms. The spring water is alkali, emerging at 45°C to 56°C, and has the highest concentration of magnesium in Korea. Forty different bath types are available, depending on the season, with different medicinal herbs and fruit essences, including cherry, pepper, lavender and citrus, mixed with the water. The complex also has a nightclub, a lounge, several banquet halls, a bakery, a bar (HurShimChung Bräu) and a Japanese restaurant, and is connected to a neighboring hotel by skywalk.

Geumjeong District is a district in north central Busan, South Korea. Approximately 7.3% of Busan's population is in Geumjeong-gu. The Hoedong Reservoir is located on the district's eastern boundary, and the mountain Geumjeongsan on the west. Because of this, 75% of the district's land is restricted from residential development. The district's population is concentrated in the valley of the Oncheoncheon stream, a tributary of the Suyeonggang. Notable landmarks include Beomeosa, a Buddhist temple dating to the Silla dynasty, and Geumjeongsan, the mountain which overlooks much of the district. Geumjeongsan is topped by the walls of the Geumjeongsanseong, which were built in the Joseon Dynasty. Several colleges and universities are located in Geumjeong-gu. The most prominent of these is Pusan National University. Geumjeong-gu serves as a nexus of transit connections between central Busan and the rest of Korea. The northern end of Busan Subway Line 1 lies in Nopo-dong, where it adjoins Busan's major express bus terminal. In addition, the southern terminus of the Gyeongbu Expressway lies within the district.

The Catholic University of Pusan is situated in the southeastern South Korean port city of Busan. The current president is Son Sam-seok. The university is traditionally focused on nursing and health sciences, but in addition to these fields it includes schools of environmental science, business administration, computer information engineering, and social welfare. It enrolls about 1,200 students.

Myeongnyun Station (Korean: 명륜역; Hanja: 明倫驛) is a station of Busan Metro Line 1 in Myeongnyun-dong, Dongnae District, Busan, South Korea.

Dongnaeeupseong Fortress (Korean: 동래읍성지) is a Goryeo-era fortress located in Dongnae District, Busan, South Korea.Traditionally in Korea, a wall-fortress was erected in each town to keep it safe from invasions. In this area called Dongnae, there were some borough-states after the Samhan period (the 1st century BC), Geochilsanguk, Chilsanguk, Jangsanguk and Dongnoguk states are told to have been included among these. It is believed that walls had been already built here at that time. However, the first mention about the Dongnaeeupseong Fortress that appears in historical records is that the wall was repaired in 1021, the twelfth year of the reign of King Hyeonjong of Goryeo Dynasty. Since the Japanese began their invasions into Korea on April 14, 1592, this Dongnaeeupseong Fortress, along with the Busanjinseong Fortress, became the first target by the Japanese. Siege of Dongnae ensued here, in which General Song Sang-hyeon and all the other officials, troops and common people lost their lives. The Fortress was repaired and expanded in 1713, extending its circumference to 5,240 metres (17,190 ft). It had four gates: Jihuiru (east), Simseongnu (west), Muuru (south), and Eunillu (north). A wing fortress was built upon the south gate and small fortifications were erected on the other three gates too. At present, there are some restored structures inside the wall, including the north gate with a fortification on its top, Dongjangdae and Seojangdae, and Bukjangdae, Insaengmun (Gate), Chiseong wall and a fortified small wall surrounding a gate.

The Bokcheon Museum (Korean: 복천박물관; Hanja: 福泉博物館) is an archaeology museum in Busan, South Korea. Opened on October 5, 1996, the museum is dedicated to the history of the city of Busan from the Samhan era to the Samguk era. Its artifacts include military weapons, armor, clothing, and household tools unearthed from the Bokcheon-dong burial ground.
