Beomil station (Busan Metro)

Beomil station (Korean: 범일역; Hanja: 凡一驛) is a railway station of the Donghae Line in Beomcheon-dong, Busanjin District, Busan, South Korea. The station is unrelated to the Beomil station of Busan Metro.

Major cities in South Korea typically have several traditional markets, each with vendors selling a wide variety of goods including fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, breads, clothing, textiles, handicrafts, souvenirs, and Korean traditional medicinal items. The Korean word for market is sijang (Korean: 시장) and traditional street markets are called jaerae sijang (Korean: 재래시장) or jeontong sijang (Korean: 전통시장). The market space commonly includes permanent restaurants, pop-up restaurants and food stalls (pojangmacha, Korean: 포장마차, lit. 'covered wagon') that sell traditional Korean cuisine and street food. The Small Enterprise and Market Service (Korean: 소상공인시장진흥공단; previously the Agency for Traditional Market Administration) is responsible for improving the condition of the country's traditional markets with the goal of developing them into prominent tourist attractions.

Busanjin Market (Korean: 부산진시장; Hanja: 釜山鎭市場) is a traditional market in Beomil-dong, Dong District, Busan, South Korea.

The Branch Wall-fortress in Busanjin (釜山鎭城), also known as Maruyama Castle (丸山城, まるやまじょう) and Konishi Castle (少西城), is located at Beomil-dong, Dong-gu, Busan, South Korea. The existing wall-fortress remains were constructed by the Japanese military during the Imjin War. There are two assertions on the name of Jaseong (Subordinate Castle). One is the wall-fortress on Jeungsan Mountain with Jwacheon-dong as the mother castle and accordingly called Jaseong. The other is that Jaseong was constructed on the mountain top as the General's terrace. The Busanjinjiseong Fortress was also called Mangongdae in memory of Ming-dynasty General Wan Shide who stayed at Jaseongdae to reinforce the Korean soldiers defending against the Imjin War. The wall-fortress was repaired after General Wan Shide returned home.

As its name suggests, Busan International Finance Center is located right next to the station. Prior to November 4, 2014, the station was named "Munjeon Station."
