Wallace Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Wallace, Duplin County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 55 contributing buildings in the central business district of Wallace. It primarily includes commercial buildings with notable examples of Queen Anne and Moderne style architecture. Notable buildings include the (former) Wallace Post Office (1940-1941), (former) Farmers Bank & Trust Company (1922), White House Cafe, Wallace Depot and Freight Warehouse, Oscar Rivenbark Wholesale Building (c. 1945), Johnson Cotton Company Building and adjacent Warehouse (c. 1945), Blanchard Pontiac dealership (c. 1945), and the former Robert Carr Gulf Station (c. 1936).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Isaac M. Powers House is a historic home located at Wallace, Duplin County, North Carolina. It was built about 1878, and is a one-story, single pile, three bay, frame dwelling with Greek Revival style design elements. A former rear ell was destroyed by fire in 1979. Also on the property are the contributing smokehouse. It was the home of Reverend Isaac Powers (1850-1936), one of the first African-American landowners in Duplin County.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The house was built between 1785 and 1800, and is a two-story, log dwelling with a later rear ell. Also on the property are a number of contributing farm outbuildings, most notable are two log smokehouses, the large six stall barn, two handsome packhouses, a very unusual arrangement of three connected tobacco barns and the family cemetery.
