The IEC Tower is a skyscraper located in Haifa, Israel. At 130 meters in height and at 30 floors is the second tallest building in the city and the thirteenth tallest in Israel. Completed in 2003, the IEC Tower was designed by Rozov-Hirsch Architects and Mansfeld Kehat Architects and is the tallest building in Israel to serve only one company, the Israel Electric Corporation who moved their headquarters here from Tel Aviv. It is also Haifa's tallest office building. The tower is located near the MATAM business park which is outside of the CBD of Haifa, and in terms of roof height is actually Haifa's tallest tower, overtaking the Sail Tower.

Matam (Hebrew מת"ם - מרכז תעשיות מדע Merkaz Ta'asiyot Mada lit. acronym of Scientific Industries Center), located at the southern entrance to Haifa, is the largest and oldest dedicated hi-tech park in Israel. The Park is an international technology center, with some of the world's leading hi-tech companies maintaining research and development facilities, including Amazon, Intel, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Philips, Google, Qualcomm, CSR, NDS Group, Elbit Systems, Apple, Plus500, Matrix, Aladdin Knowledge Systems, NetManage, ProcessGene, and Neustar.

th Carmel Beach central bus station (Hebrew: מֶרְכָּזִית חוֹף הַכַּרְמֵל, Merkazit Hof HaKarmel) is the main bus station in Haifa, Israel, replacing the Haifa Bat Galim central bus station. The former station is now only used to store Egged buses and for Egged office space and inner-city buses now only stop there on the road rather than inside on the route between Haifa Hof HaCarmel central bus station and the Mifratz central bus station. Carmel Beach central bus station opened in 19 August 2003. Since then, all buses coming from the South which formerly ended at Haifa Bat Galim central bus station terminate at Carmel Beach central bus station and new more frequent lines operate between the three stations. Passengers can get a free transfer to urban buses when they buy their inter-city ticket to continue from one central bus station to the other one, or into the city. Carmel Beach central bus station serves local Egged bus lines within the city of Haifa and all intercity Egged bus routes heading to the South. The station is also a mall. It has one level and has stores and a food court. At the waiting area for departing buses, there are doors to go outside to the bus platform. At the arrival area, people go inside a door to the building. Carmel Beach central bus station is adjacent to Haifa Carmel Beach railway station. Sammy Ofer Stadium (Hebrew: אצטדיון סמי עופר), also known as Haifa Municipal Stadium (האצטדיון העירוני חיפה‎), is a 30,780 seats multi-purpose stadium in Haifa, Israel. Construction began in late 2009 and was completed in 2014. The stadium was developed and built by the Haifa Economic Corporation, managed by Adv. Gal Peleg. Currently, the stadium is used mostly for football matches, hosting the home games of Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Haifa The stadium replaced Kiryat Eliezer Stadium, which was closed in 2014 and demolished in 2015. The stadium is named after the late Israeli billionaire Sammy Ofer, who donated $20,000,000 to build the stadium. Ofer's contribution was 19% of the total cost of the stadium. The stadium also serves the Israel national football team for some select home matches.

Haifa Hof HaCarmel railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת חיפה חוף הכרמל, Taḥanat HaRakevet Haifa Ḥof HaCarmel, lit. Carmel Coast or Carmel Beach, sometimes spelled Haifa Hof HaKarmel; Arabic: محطة قطار حيفا – حوف هكرمل or محطة قطار حيفا – شاطئ الكرمل) is an Israel Railways station serving the city of Haifa, Israel. Although it is not Haifa's official central railway station, its location next to the Carmel Beach central bus station makes it the busiest in the city, and in the country outside of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Furthermore, it has the most platforms out of any Haifa station, effectively making it the central railway station de facto.

Kababir (Arabic: كبابير; Hebrew: כבאביר) is a mixed neighbourhood with a majority of Ahmadi Muslim Arabs and a significant minority of Jews in Haifa, Israel.

Mahmood Mosque (Arabic: مسجد محمود, Hebrew: מסגד האחמדים) is a mosque in Kababir, Haifa, Israel. It was built by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in the late 1970s.

Carmel Medical Center (Hebrew: מרכז רפואי כרמל, romanized: Merkaz Refoí Camrel; formerly Carmel Hospital) is a hospital located in the Ahuzat Shmuel neighborhood in Haifa, Israel. The hospital belongs to Clalit Health Services.

The Haifa bus 37 suicide bombing was a suicide bombing carried out on 5 March 2003 on an Egged bus in Haifa, Israel. Seventeen passengers were killed in the attack and 53 were injured. Many of the victims were students from Haifa University.The Palestinian Islamist terror organization Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. The suicide bomber was 20-year-old Mahmoud Umdan Salim Qawasmeh, a student at the Palestine Polytechnic University. An Israeli Arab resident of Haifa who helped plan the attack was also tried and sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement.

In 1265, the army of Baibars the Mamluk captured Haifa, destroying its fortifications, which had been rebuilt by Louis IX of France, as well as the majority of the city's homes to prevent the European Crusaders from returning.

Tirat Carmel (Hebrew: טִירַת כַּרְמֶל), or Tirat HaCarmel, is a city in the Haifa District in Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 23,112.Throughout the ages, the site of the modern city was controlled by many people, including the Romans, the Ottoman, and the British. The modern city was established on the site of the Palestinian Arab village of al-Tira. The town of Tirat Carmel was officially declared a city in 1992.

The Maxim restaurant bombing was a suicide bombing which occurred on October 4, 2003, in the beachfront "Maxim" restaurant in Haifa, Israel. Twenty-one civilians were killed and 60 were injured. Among the victims were two families and four children, including a two-month-old baby. The restaurant, which is located at the seafront near the southern boundary of the city of Haifa, was frequently attended by both Arab and Jewish local populations, and was widely seen as a symbol of peaceful coexistence in Haifa. The militant organization Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack. It was condemned by Palestinian President Yasser Arafat. The restaurant's interior was destroyed by the blast (it was completely rebuilt seven months after the attack).
