Afferden is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Druten, and lies about 10 km northwest of Wijchen. Afferden was a separate municipality until 1818, when it became a part of Druten.

Hien is a neighbourhood of Dodewaard and a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, about 1 km east of Dodewaard. It was first mentioned in the late 9th century as Hehun. The etymology is unclear. Around 1300, Hien becomes an independent parish. The tower of church burned down in 1641 and was replaced in 1787. In 1842, the church was demolished and replaced by a new church. In 1840, it was home to 637 people. It grew into a single urban area with Dodewaard and most of the original village including the church has been annexed. There are about a dozen houses in the hamlet left.

Dodewaard is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, and lies about 7 km south of Wageningen. Dodewaard was a separate municipality until 2002, when it became a part of Kesteren. Before 1818, the municipality was called "Hien en Dodewaard".It also houses the now defunct Dodewaard nuclear power plant.

De Verrekijker (English: The Spyglass) is a tower mill in Bergharen, Gelderland, Netherlands which was built in 1904 and has been converted to a holiday cottage. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument.

There is a windmill, De Verrekijker, which has been converted to a holiday cottage.The village was first mentioned in the 12th century as Haren, and means "hill on a sandy ridge". The tower of the Dutch Reformed Church dates from the 14th century and has 12th century elements. The nave was built between 1475 and 1525. The original choir was demolished and replaced in 1826. The Catholic St Anna Church was constructed in 1893. In 1840, it was home to 734 people.

Opheusden is a railway station located in Opheusden, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 November 1882 and is on the Elst–Dordrecht railway. Train services are operated by Arriva. The station temporarily closed between 1890 and 1898. Between 1882 and 1890, this station was called Dalwagen(straat).

Dodewaard nuclear power plant is a nuclear power plant with a boiling water reactor (BWR) of General Electric in the Dutch town of Dodewaard. The plant halted energy production in 1997. Its final decommissioning has been postponed for a period of 40 years and was placed into a safe enclosure configuration in 2005.

Druten (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdrytə(n)] (listen)) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands.
