Trenton Speedway was a racing facility located near Trenton, New Jersey at the New Jersey State Fairgrounds. Races for the United States' premier open-wheel and full-bodied racing series of the times were held at Trenton Speedway.

Nottingham High School (also formally known as Hamilton High School North) is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades located in Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as one of the three secondary schools of the Hamilton Township School District; the other high schools in the district are Hamilton High School West and Steinert High School (Hamilton High School East).As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 985 students and 86.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.4:1. There were 400 students (40.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 82 (8.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Nottingham Township was a township that existed for almost 168 years in New Jersey, from 1688 until it was dissolved in 1856. The township was created on November 6, 1688, as a part of nascent Burlington County in the Province of West Jersey, representing half of the future Province of New Jersey. It was incorporated by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature as one of the State of New Jersey's initial group of 104 townships on February 21, 1798. On February 22, 1838, the township became part of the newly formed Mercer County. On February 28, 1840, the Borough of South Trenton, New Jersey was created, and annexed in 1851 as part of Trenton. Hamilton Township was created on April 11, 1842, from portions of Nottingham, reducing its once sprawling territory to a long sliver of land running between the Delaware River and the Delaware and Raritan Canal. Portions of the township were annexed by Bordentown borough (now a city) on February 13, 1849.Nottingham Township was dissolved on April 14, 1856, with portions of its territory being split between Hamilton Township and Trenton.

The Shabakunk Creek is a tributary of the Assunpink Creek in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. Via the Assunpink, its water ultimately flows into the Delaware River. The name Shabakunk is from the Lenape word meaning "shore land".

Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy (formerly Trenton Catholic Academy) is a Catholic school in Trenton, New Jersey. It serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grades and formerly operated under the auspices of the Diocese of Trenton.During the 2017–18 school year, TCA had an enrollment of 202 students and 19.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.6:1. The school's student body was 54.5% (110) Black, 28.7% (58) Hispanic, 9.4% (19) White, 4.0% (8) two or more races and 3.5% (7) Asian.

Trenton Catholic High School was a Roman Catholic high school serving boys in ninth through twelfth grades located in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school closed after the 1961-1962 school year, at which time St. Anthony High School was created to fill the void. After being renamed as McCorristin Catholic High School, the school is now known as Trenton Catholic Academy.

Colonial Lake is a 25-acre (10 ha) man-made lake along the Shabakunk Creek in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It is located on Business Route 1 across from the Lawrence Shopping Center. The lake was created when an earthen dam was constructed across the Shabakunk in 1924 by local housing developers interested in providing recreation opportunities for a nearby development, which became known as Colonial Lakelands. The lake is currently the centerpiece of Lawrence Township's Colonial Lake Park.

The Anderson–Capner House is located at 700 Trumbull Avenue in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. Constructed in 1764, it is the last remaining pre-revolutionary building and farm house in the southern part of the township. Thomas Capner purchased the house in 1829 and introduced new scientific methods of farming to the area. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
