Anderson–Capner House

Slackwood is an unincorporated community located within Lawrence Township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area is named for the owners of the land that was subdivided into the neighborhood today, Joseph Slack and William Wood. The neighborhood was first developed in 1890 as the first suburban development in the reconfigured Lawrence Township (a portion of the township had seceded in the 1880s to form Millham Township, now part of the City of Trenton). Its location between Princeton Pike (now County Route 583) and Brunswick Pike (U.S. Route 1 Business) allowed for an easy walk to nearby Trenton factories. Today, most of the homes in Slackwood are still small bungalows with some businesses along with Princeton and Brunswick Pikes. The neighborhood is bounded by the two highways on the northwest and southeast, Slackwood Park and forest on the southwest, and Shabakunk Creek and Park on the northeast.

The Israel Stevens House is a private home in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Top Road is a neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Much of Top Road was once part of Lawrence Township and then was added to the now-defunct Millham Township before being annexed by Trenton in 1888.

Notre Dame High School is a coeducational, Roman Catholic, college preparatory school in the Lawrenceville section of Lawrence Township, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Colonial Lake is a 25-acre (10 ha) man-made lake along the Shabakunk Creek in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It is located on Business Route 1 across from the Lawrence Shopping Center. The lake was created when an earthen dam was constructed across the Shabakunk in 1924 by local housing developers interested in providing recreation opportunities for a nearby development, which became known as Colonial Lakelands. The lake is currently the centerpiece of Lawrence Township's Colonial Lake Park.

The Shabakunk Creek is a tributary of the Assunpink Creek in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. Via the Assunpink, its water ultimately flows into the Delaware River. The name Shabakunk is from the Lenape word meaning "shore land".

The East Trenton Public Library, in Trenton, New Jersey, was built as the Samuel Dickinson house, c. 1796 at the center of a large farm. In 1926 it became a public library, in which capacity it continues to serve.

Lawrence High School (LHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Lawrence Township Public Schools. The school is located in the Lawrenceville section of the township. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1992.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,166 students and 99.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.8:1. There were 190 students (16.3% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 70 (6.0% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school colors are red and white. The school mascot is the cardinal.

East Trenton is a neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It borders Hamilton Township and is home to a sizable African-American community, besides having small pockets of Latinos (mainly from Puerto Rico) and Italians.

Trenton Speedway was a racing facility located near Trenton, New Jersey at the New Jersey State Fairgrounds. Races for the United States' premier open-wheel and full-bodied racing series of the times were held at Trenton Speedway.
