John A. Oates House

Kyle House is a historic home located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. The original Kyle House, home to merchant James Kyle, burned in a city fire in 1831. Rumor had it that the great fire began in the Kyle House's kitchen. It was then rebuilt in about 1855 as a two-story, five-bay, brick town house with Greek Revival and Italianate style design elements. It features a three-bay wide one-story porch with a flat roof supported by four fluted Doric order columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

St. Joseph's Episcopal Church is a historic black Episcopal church complex located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. Its historic church at Ramsey and Moore Streets was built in 1896. It is a low, shingled, Queen Anne style frame church with English Gothic and Spanish accents. It features a three-part stained glass window, deeply projecting semi-octagonal chancel, and steeply pitched main roof with exposed rafters. Also on the property are the contributing Parish House and Parsonage. It was chartered in 1873, and is the second oldest Episcopal congregation in Fayetteville.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

St. John's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina is a congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina, a division of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. Founded in 1817, it is located on Green Street in historic downtown Fayetteville. The congregation was formally organized April 7, 1817, and it became the first Episcopal church in the city. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Public tours are available by appointment.

Mansard Roof House is a historic home located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1883, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, three bay by six bay, Second Empire style frame dwelling. It has a side-hall plan and rear wing. It features a mansard roof covered with diaper-patterned pressed metal and wraparound porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Capitol, also known as The Capitol Department Store, is a historic department store building located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. The original store was established at this site in 1921, with an existing two-story building incorporated into it in 1936. In 1949, the existing building was doubled in size by a large rear addition. The most notable feature is the 60-foot (18 m) wide Modern Movement storefront added in 1955. It features marble facing, a recessed storefront, a large convex full-height window in the second story, and large aluminum script lettering for The Capitol. The Capitol, the last department store remaining in downtown Fayetteville, closed in March 1990.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

It was built about 1855, and is a two-story, five-bay, Greek Revival style frame building with a hip roof. It has flanked by wings added 1948–1950 and features a front porch supported by octagonal columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at Ann and Bow Streets in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1832, incorporating parts of the brick walls of an earlier (1816) church that burned in 1831. It is a two-story gabled brick building, five bays wide and five wider bays deep. The chancel, portico, steeple and most of the interior woodwork are later additions and replacements. The hexastyle portico and steeple were designed by Hobart Upjohn in 1922.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Barge's Tavern was moved to the Belden-Horne House property in 1978.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

It was built about 1800, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, frame building with a gable roof and central chimney. A gable roofed porch and rear ell were added in the late-19th century. It was moved to its present site behind the Belden-Horne House in 1978.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

They range in build date from the 1780s to 1949. The district includes the previously listed Liberty Row and Market House Square District and 16 resources listed as part of the "Historic Resources of Fayetteville," a Multiple Resource Nomination.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

It was built between 1906 and 1910, and is a Romanesque Revival style brick church. It has a gable front flanked by towers of unequal size.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Hay Street United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church located in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was the first Methodist church constructed in the city. The congregation was received into the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1808 by Bishop Francis Asbury and it was completed on June 23, 1835. The current structure was built in 1908, one hundred years after the official organization of the church. It is a brick church with three corner towers in the Late Gothic Revival style. The building is known for its elaborate stained glass windows, which feature the lost art of the "robing glass" technique. Renovations to the structure last took place in 1978, including the installation of a Holkamp Organ.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.The church constructed a new Family Life Center which was completed in 2007. The Rev. David Woodhouse currently serves as pastor.
