HKUGA College (HKUGAC; Chinese: 港大同學會書院) is an (English as Medium of Instruction School; Chinese: 香港英文授課中學) Band 1A secondary school located at No. 9 Nam Fung Road, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong. It was founded in 2006 by the Hong Kong University Graduates Association. The Hong Kong University Graduates Association Education Foundation is a registered non-profit-making organization founded by members of the Hong Kong University Graduates Association, alumni of The University of Hong Kong (HKU), and other members of society. The foundation consists of nearly 200 members and is managed by an elected Executive Committee.

Wong Chuk Hang San Wai (Chinese: 黃竹坑新圍; lit. 'Wong Chuk Hang new village') is a village in the Wong Chuk Hang area of Southern District, Hong Kong. It is located at the bottom of Shouson Hill.

Grantham Hospital is a specialist cardiothoracic hospital located at Wong Chuk Hang and is part of the Hong Kong West Cluster. It is a tertiary referral centre providing specialist service in cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, paediatric cardiology, tuberculosis & chest medicine and cardio-pulmonary infirmary. In 2003 and 2004, palliative medicine and acute geriatrics service were set up respectively after Nam Long Hospital has been closed down in December 2003. The hospital is founded in 1957 by the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association and renamed for Alexander Grantham, a former Governor of Hong Kong. It has 372 beds and 544 staff. The hospital is affiliated with the Medical faculty of the University of Hong Kong, providing clinical attachment opportunities for its medical students. The University's divisions of cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology and paediatric cardiology have their bases here. However, it has been proposed that these acute services will be relocated to the Queen Mary Hospital (the Flagship teaching hospital of the University) in the coming future for better and more efficient use of resources. Grantham Hospital will then become a hospital dedicated to chronic and palliative care. The School of General Nursing has been re-opened in 2008 to educate and train up Enrolled Nurses and the hospice centre under the Li Ka Shing Foundation Hospice Service Programme was set up to provide holistic care to cancer patients and their families.

Ocean Park (Chinese: 海洋公園; Cantonese Yale: Hóiyèung Gūngyún) is an MTR rapid transit station in Hong Kong on the eastern section of the South Island line, which serves Ocean Park Hong Kong and Wong Chuk Hang. It opened on 28 December 2016 with the rest of the South Island line. It takes around 4 minutes to travel from Admiralty station to Ocean Park station, which is 21 minutes faster than taking the Citybus route 629 from Admiralty station to Hong Kong Ocean Park. The station is built above ground, north of Ocean Park Road, above the Ocean Park Bus Depot. A footbridge links the station with the park entrance. In total, the station features three entrances/exits.

Aberdeen Sports Ground (Chinese: 香港仔運動場) is a rugby union and football sports ground situated at 108 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. It is the home stadium of Hong Kong Premier League football club Southern and Global Rapid Rugby rugby union team South China Tigers. Inside the stadium, there is one running track (6 lanes, 400m) and one natural grass pitch. Aberdeen Sports Ground is also the venue for 30 Hour Famine in Hong Kong.After successfully gaining the right to play in the 2012–13 season on 8 April 2012, Southern continued to use Aberdeen Sports Ground as their home ground in the First Division. As a result of Typhoon Mangkhut in September 2018, Aberdeen Sports Ground's West stand and canopy were damaged and deemed unusable. In November, a temporary canopy was erected over the East stand in order to allow for the remainder of Southern's home matches to be played at the stadium.On 21 June 2019, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that renovation work had begun on the stadium and that the facility would be closed to the public until 31 March 2020.

Shouson Hill (Chinese: 壽臣山) is a hill (148 m high) on the coast of Deep Water Bay east of Wong Chuk Hang, in Southern District, on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. North of the hill is an affluent residential area, which consists primarily of Shouson Hill Road, a loop off the main Wong Chuk Hang Road, together with a few side roads.

Ocean Park Hong Kong, commonly known as Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is the second largest theme park in Hong Kong, after Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as the largest theme park in Hong Kong by area. It is also the second oldest theme park in Hong Kong, after the now-defunct Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park which closed on 31 March 1997, four months before the 1997 handover. Opened on 10 January 1977, Ocean Park became popular, but 28 years later, it was unprofitable and widely expected to close due to the new Hong Kong Disneyland. However, the Park responded with a HK$5.5 billion development plan that saw it expand to over 80 attractions and rides, and steadily grow visitor numbers to 7.6 million in 2014, making it the world's 13th most visited theme park, and one of the largest theme parks in Asia. Half of all visitors now come from mainland China, in growth that parallels rising mainland tourist visitor levels to Hong Kong over the same period.Covering an area of 91.5 hectares (226 acres), the park is separated by a large mountain into two areas, The Summit (Headland) and The Waterfront (Lowland). These areas can be reached by a 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) cable car system, or the Ocean Express funicular railway. To ascend the Headland, which comprises several hills, visitors can use Hong Kong's second longest outdoor escalator. The theme park has various attractions and rides, including four roller coasters, and also animal exhibits with different themes, such as a giant panda habitat, rainforest and polar displays, as well as an aquarium featuring the world's largest aquarium dome. Between 1979 and 1997, Ocean Park was most famous for its signature killer whale, Miss Hoi Wai/Susie Wong. As well as being an amusement park, Ocean Park Hong Kong aims to merge entertainment and education, including conservation advocacy. However, it has been criticised by wildlife advocates for practices including the wild capture of large sea animals, such as dolphins and orca, and the presentation of shows featuring such animals performing.Ocean Park is also renowned for holding the largest Halloween events in Asia.

South Island School is a private international school founded by the English Schools Foundation of Hong Kong, located at 50 Nam Fung Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong, with about 1,400 students enrolled and 107 teachers. Students come from diverse backgrounds, with over 38 nationalities represented. The school offers the GCSE/IGCSE syllabus, IB Diploma Programme, IB Career-related Programme and the BTEC qualification. The school is one of three ESF secondary schools on Hong Kong Island, the others being West Island School and Island School. According to an inspection report from 2019 by the Council of International Schools (CoIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), South Island School 'passionately promotes the development of global citizenship and intercultural learning, and the school climate is such that there is a very strong sense of mutual trust amongst all the school's stakeholders.'

The Central Ordnance Munitions Depot was constructed in the late 1930s by British for the World War II to combat the Japanese Invasion as well as to store arms and ammunition for the defence of Hong Kong. The British used "Little Hong Kong", name for the fishing village town of Aberdeen, as a "code name" to refer to the military site and therefore confuse Japanese spies in the local community before the Japanese invasion.Following a successful proposal made to the Government of Hong Kong for a commercial adaptive reuse of the underground bunkers in 2002, the Central Ordnance Munitions Depot has been renovated to become wine cellars. This revitalisation project won one of the four Awards of Merit of the 2007 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation.

Wong Chuk Hang (Chinese: 黃竹坑) is an elevated MTR rapid transit station in Hong Kong on the eastern section of the South Island line, built on the Staunton Creek Nullah and off the old site of Wong Chuk Hang Estate in Staunton Creek (Chung Mei). It is named after the locality of the same name further east and serves residents in that area, as well as connect to a public transport interchange on a widened section of Heung Yip Road. A network of footbridges serves future commercial and residential areas, and the station exists as a hub to the Shum Wan area as a whole. The station opened on 28 December 2016 with the rest of the South Island line. The South Island line depot is located to the south. It is the fourth railway station in the territory to be built on a river, after Tuen Mun and Siu Hong stations on Tuen Mun River, and Long Ping station on Yuen Long Nullah.

Deep Water Bay Road (Chinese: 深水灣道) is a road in the Southern District in Hong Kong. It constitutes part of the road south from Happy Valley towards Wong Chuk Hang. It is renowned as one of the wealthiest streets in Hong Kong and the world, with over a dozen billionaires living in mansions on this road.

Wong Chuk Hang (Cantonese pronunciation: [wɔ̏ːŋ tsók̚ háːŋ]) is a neighbourhood in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong.
