The Bobsleds is an in-house hybrid roller coaster at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Irondequoit, New York. The coaster opened in its current form in 1962, making it one of the first roller coasters in the world to use steel tubular track, second only to the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland.

The WhirlWind is a steel spinning roller coaster at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester, New York. It is where Quantum Loop stood until Winter 2004 when the WhirlWind was added.

Jack Rabbit is an "out and back" wooden roller coaster located at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Irondequoit, New York. The Jack Rabbit is a terrain coaster that features seven dips, a helix, and a tunnel. It opened on May 31, 1920. Jack Rabbit is the fourth oldest operating roller coaster in the world and the second oldest in the United States. The oldest, Leap-The-Dips in Altoona, Pennsylvania, was closed from 1985 to 1999, making Jack Rabbit the oldest continuously operating coaster in the country.

Irondequoit Bay State Marine Park is a 44-acre (0.18 km2) state park and boat launch located in Monroe County, New York, north of the City of Rochester. The park is operated by the Town of Irondqeuoit and primarily facilitates fishing and boating access to Irondequoit Bay and Lake Ontario.

Parkside Whispering Pines, once known as Tall Maples Miniature Golf Course, is a miniature golf course and national historic district located at the hamlet of Sea Breeze in the Town of Irondequoit in Monroe County, New York. It was built in 1930 and is a rare surviving example of a miniature golf course that dates from the sport's first period of broad based popularity.It was listed, under its former name, on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge is a bobtail swing truss bridge in the northeastern suburbs of Rochester, New York, in the United States. It spans the outlet of Irondequoit Bay at Lake Ontario, carrying vehicular traffic between Culver Road in Irondequoit and Lake Road in Webster. The bridge is closed to vehicular traffic (bridge in open position) during the boating season from April to November, allowing marine traffic to travel between Lake Ontario and Irondequoit Bay. During the boating season, the bridge is a popular spot for visitors to watch the boat traffic, walk out onto the nearby jetties, and fish. The swing bridge replaced a two-lane fixed timber bridge that existed from 1929 to 1985. The old bridge's removal was part of an U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project to open up the Irondequoit Bay to boating.According to Monroe County, the concrete and steel bridge is 185.5 ft long (56.5 m) with two spans and a 24-foot (7.3 m) roadway; it was completed in 1998 for $4.8 million (including renovation of nearby Irondequoit Bay Marine Park). The bridge has a main span of 132.5 feet (40.4 m) on its eastern end with a counter-weighted 53-foot (16 m) span on its western end. To open or close the bridge requires about two hours of setup time, 30 minutes turning time and 2 hours of set-down time. The bridge weighs approximately 425 tons.On the west side of the bridge there is a small public beach area, restrooms, and a jetty which protrudes out into the lake and terminates with a small lighthouse. A shorter jetty on the east side provides views of the lake and channel to the Webster visitors. Seabreeze Amusement Park is about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) southwest and visible from the overlooks. The bridge may be used as an alternate route for the Seaway Trail when the bridge is open to traffic during the winter months. Each year, the bridge is swung to the in-storage position (open to boaters) on April 1, after 9:00 am, and to the in-use position (open to vehicular traffic) on November 1. If April 1st happens to fall on a weekend day, then the bridge will be placed into storage on the Monday following the weekend. If November 1st happens to fall on a weekend day then the bridge will be put in-use on the Monday after the weekend. A feasibility study has been conducted to explore options to provide year-round access across the Bay Outlet. In the early morning of December 24, 2012, William Spengler, a 62-year-old man living in West Webster, New York, a suburb of Rochester, deliberately set his home and vehicle on fire. He then perpetrated a mass shooting, firing upon first responders. Spengler killed two firefighters, and injured two more and a police officer, before committing suicide. The badly burnt corpse of his sister was later found in his home. The shooting, as well as the Sandy Hook shooting which occurred just twelve days prior, served as the impetus for the NY SAFE Act which added strong restrictions to the state's gun laws.

The Irondequoit Bay Bridge is a 2,375.36-foot (724.01 m) continuous truss bridge spanning Irondequoit Bay in eastern Monroe County, New York, in the United States. It is 87 feet (27 m) wide and carries the six-lane New York State Route 104 (NY 104) from the town of Irondequoit on the west side of the bay to the town of Webster on the bay's east side. The western approach is just east of NY 104's interchange with NY 590. The bay bridge was built in 1967, has nine spans and handles an average of 67,229 vehicles per day as of 2006.Views from the bridge are somewhat obstructed by the concrete side barriers, especially for smaller cars.

Durand Eastman Park is a 977-acre (3.95 km2) park located partly in Rochester, and partly in Irondequoit, New York. It is administered by the Monroe County Parks Department under agreements with the City of Rochester and the Town of Irondequoit.

Eastridge High School is an American public high school located in Irondequoit, New York. The School is an IB (International Baccalaureate) world school. It also offers Honors and AP classes. Its current principal is Timothy Heaphy. This is the main high school in the East Irondequoit Central School District. The school also features a marching band, indoor percussion ensemble and drama club for yearly shows. On May 7, 2015, Eastridge High School was named one of ten schools chosen as a School of Opportunity by the National Education Policy Center (NEPC). More than 80 schools applied and four were awarded “Gold Recognition” and six earned “Silver Recognition”. Eastridge is one of the schools awarded Silver Recognition.

Irondequoit Bay is a large body of water located in northeastern Monroe County, New York. The bay, roughly 0.5 miles (0.80 km) wide and 4 miles (6.4 km) in length, is fed by Irondequoit Creek to the south and flows into Lake Ontario at its northern end. On average, the surface of Irondequoit Bay rests at 245 feet (75 m) above sea level and is 80 feet (24 m) deep at its deepest point a short distance north of the Irondequoit Bay Bridge carrying the six-lane New York State Route 104 over the bay.The center of the bay acts as the eastern border for the town of Irondequoit and the western border of the towns of Penfield and Webster. The Irondequoit–Penfield boundary continues along the center of Irondequoit Creek south of the New York State Route 404 float bridge.During the past million years there were four glacial ages that covered the Rochester area with ice and impacted the geography of the area. The most recent glacier that left evidence here was about 100,000 years ago and it caused compression of the earth by as much as 2,500 feet (760 m). About 12,000 years ago, the area underwent massive changes, which included the rerouting of the Genesee River and other water bodies. Since the earth rebounded from the melting glaciers more rapidly in Canada than in New York, water from Lake Ontario was spilled over New York due to its lower elevation. During this time, the original outlet of the Genesee River was flooded out, creating Irondequoit Bay.On a French map of the area from 1688 titled "Le Lac Ontario" Irondequoit Bay was referred to as the "swamp of the Senecas". Skyview on the Ridge is a future redevelopment of a shopping mall located in Irondequoit, New York, a suburb of Rochester. The mall opened in 1990 as Irondequoit Mall, featuring anchors McCurdy's, Sibley's, J. C. Penney, and Sears. On January 22, 2016, Angelo Ingrassia, a local real estate developer who specializes in developing premier properties, purchased the center. On August 29, 2017, current owner Angelo Ingrassia announced a plan to construct an office park along with retail, a community center, as well as a large residential component. The development is named Skyview on the Ridge.On July 30, 2019, the Town of Irondequoit approved a referendum that would allow the town to move forward by borrowing $7.25 million to build a community center.
