Topsham, Maine

West Bath is a town in Sagadahoc County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,910 at the 2020 census. A sub-locality of West Bath is Winnegance. West Bath is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area.

The Mill Cove School, also known as the Littlefield School House, is a historic school building on Berrys Mill Road in West Bath, Maine. Built about 1853, it is the town's last surviving unaltered district school house. It underwent restoration in the early 2000s, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

WJTO (730 AM) is an adult standards and oldies station licensed to Bath, Maine. WJTO is owned by Blue Jey Broadcasting Co. (Bob Bittner: 100% stockholder) and is a sister station to similarly owned WJIB in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Winnegance is an area which includes parts of the towns of West Bath, Phippsburg, and the city of Bath, Maine, United States. It is located in Sagadahoc County, near Winnegance Lake and Winnegance Creek. Winnegance is from the word Winnegansis, Abenaki for "little portage". Following Winnegance Creek upstream from the Kennebec, then portaging one's canoe a short distance west to Winnegance Bay on the New Meadows River allowed the traveler to avoid the rough waters at the mouth of the Kennebec and Small Point. Mid Coast Hospital is located in Brunswick, Maine. It serves Maine's Midcoast region. The 93-bed facility is an independent, non-profit hospital governed by a community board of directors. Its current president and CEO is Lois Skillings, RN. Mid Coast Hospital was formed after a merger occurred between Bath Memorial Hospital and Regional Memorial Hospital. The hospital opened its modern campus in Cook's Corner in 2001 and then expanded in 2009 with a new emergency department and additional medical/surgical inpatient beds. Mid Coast Hospital is part of Mid Coast–Parkview Health, the third-largest employer in the Midcoast region with more than 2,000 employees.

The William T. Donnell House is a historic house museum, part of the Maine Maritime Museum on Washington Street in Bath, Maine. It was built in 1868 for one of the city's leading shipbuilders of the late 19th century, and has remained relatively unaltered since his occupancy. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology is a distance learning school of yacht design in Bath, Maine, United States, established in 1930. Graduates of the school receive the Westlawn Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering and Yacht Design. The 320' three-masted schooner Eos was designed by Westlawn graduate Antonio Ferrer.

Hyde School is a private, co-educational, college-preparatory boarding school for grades 9–12 and postgraduate in Bath, Maine, United States. It was founded in 1966 by Joseph W. Gauld who wanted to "set up a school devoted to developing self-confidence and self-discipline."

The Hyde Mansion, originally known as Elmhurst, is a historic house at 616 High Street in Bath, Maine, United States. Now the main building on the Bath campus of The Hyde Schools, it was built in 1913 for John Sedgewick Hyde, the son of Bath Iron Works (BIW) founder Thomas W. Hyde. It was designed by John Calvin Stevens, and is an example of Colonial Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Morse High School (Morse or MHS) is a public high school in Bath, Maine, serving the towns of Bath, Phippsburg, Woolwich, and Arrowsic. The student/adult ratio at Morse is 15:1. The school colors are blue and white. Class elections take place every year. The enrollment is 623 students.

The Trufant Historic District encompasses a concentration of 19th-century middle-class residential housing on the south side of Bath, Maine. This area was most heavily developed during Bath's heyday as a major shipbuilding center, and includes numerous examples of Greek Revival and Italianate styling. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
