The Montgomery–Janes–Whittaker House, best known today as Buena Vista, is a historic Federal style plantation house in Autauga County, Alabama, south of Prattville. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1974. The house is currently owned by the Autauga County Heritage Association and operated as a historic house museum.

WIQR (1410 AM) was a radio station formerly licensed to serve Prattville, Alabama, United States. The station was owned by Star Power Communications Corporation and served the Montgomery, Alabama, area.It once aired Spanish sports radio format and featured programming from ESPN Deportes Radio. In 2015 this station was doing classic Soul and R&B tunes. As of December 2015, this station went silent. The station was most recently reassigned the WIQR call letters by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on December 5, 1996. The station can be heard as far east as Atlanta. The station's license was cancelled on March 12, 2019, due to WIQR having been silent since at least June 3, 2016.

The Daniel Pratt Cotton Gin Manufactory ( Continental Eagle Corporation 1986–2012) was a cotton gin factory created by Daniel Pratt in 1854 (Present Buildings on west side of Autauga Creek), in what is now Prattville, Alabama, a town named for him. The factory became the largest cotton gin machinery factory in the world and supplied cotton gins to all cotton producing countries. In 1899, the Daniel Pratt Gin Company merged with other manufacturing companies to become the Continental Gin Company. Over the years the company had several owners and names, all producing cotton gin machinery and other metal products for 158 years. In 1986 Continental Eagle Corporation became the last owner and operator of this historic cotton gin machinery supplier. These buildings represented the oldest continuously-operated industrial complex in the State of Alabama until 2012 when the business technology was sold to an Indian Company Bajaj Steel Industries Limited. In 1997, these historic buildings were a documentation project of the United States National Parks System's Historic American Engineering Record (Continental Gin Company). The "Continental Gin Company" documentation project produced measured drawings of the historic buildings and a history of the Prattville Gin Factory

Prattville is a city located within both Autauga and Elmore counties in the State of Alabama but serves as the county seat of Autauga County. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 37,781. Nicknamed "The Fountain City" due to the many artesian wells in the area, Prattville is part of the Montgomery metropolitan statistical area.

Daniel Pratt Cemetery is a historical burial place in Prattville, Alabama. The cemetery dates from 1849 to 1886. It is located roughly bounded by Northington Road, 1st, 6th, Bridge, and Court Streets. The cemetery is a contributing property on the Daniel Pratt Historic District. It is also listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on September 14, 1977.

The Daniel Pratt Historic District is a historic district that includes 140 acres (57 ha) and 154 buildings in Prattville, Alabama. It is named in honor of Prattville's founder, Daniel Pratt. The district includes the historic downtown and is roughly bounded by 6th Street in the north, Northington Street in the east, 1st Street in the south, and Bridge and Court streets in the west. Architecture in the district includes the Greek Revival, Italianate, and Bungalow styles. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 30, 1984.The district includes the Autauga County Courthouse. It also includes the site of the Daniel Pratt House, which was demolished in 1960 to make way for the expansion of the successor to the Pratt industrial complex.

The Bell House (also known as Biggs House) is a historic house located at 550 Upper Kingston Road in Prattville, Alabama. It is locally significant as an excellent example of the Queen Anne style of architecture, that reached its zenith in Alabama at the turn of the 20th century and continued locally as late as 1920.

The Stone Plantation, also known as the Young Plantation and the Barton Warren Stone House, is a historic Greek Revival-style plantation house and one surviving outbuilding along the Old Selma Road on the outskirts of Montgomery, Alabama. It had been the site of a plantation complex, and prior to the American Civil War it was known for cotton production worked by enslaved people.It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on September 28, 2000; and listed as one of the National Register of Historic Places for architecture on December 31, 2001.

The Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. The 72-hole event made its debut seventeen years ago in September 2007 at the Capitol Hill location on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Prattville, Alabama, a suburb northwest of Montgomery. Maria Hjorth won the inaugural event on the Senator Course by one stroke over Stacy Prammanasudh.Top-ranked Lorena Ochoa then won consecutive titles, in a playoff in 2008 and by four strokes in 2009. Katherine Hull won in 2010 by a single stroke and set the tournament scoring record at 269 (−19).The event saw the then youngest-ever winner of an LPGA event in 2011, with Lexi Thompson's five-stroke victory at age 16. (Amateur Lydia Ko lowered the record to age 15 in 2012 in Canada.) In 2012, Stacy Lewis won her third event of the season by two strokes over Thompson, who carded a 63 (−9) on Thursday, but had a 74 (+2) on Saturday.The Senator Course at RTJ Capitol Hill converted its greens from bent grass to Champion Bermuda grass in the summer of 2011. The title sponsor was Navistar International, a manufacturer of commercial trucks, engines, and school buses. Following the 2012 event, it elected not to continue as title sponsor, and the tournament was dropped from the schedule in 2013. The tournament reappeared in 2014 when the Yokohama Tire Corporation took over as the title sponsor.Formerly played later in the season, it was moved up in the schedule to May in 2016. The LPGA Tour event in Mobile, last played as the Airbus LPGA Classic in 2014, was held in May at an RTJ Golf Trail course.

High Point Town Center is a lifestyle center located in Prattville, Alabama, United States, across from the Prattville Towne Center. The 900,000-square-foot (84,000 m2) mall opened in 2008 but remained largely vacant leading to its sale at a bankruptcy auction in July 2011.

Passmore Auxiliary Field is a former facility of the United States Army Air Forces located in Prattville, Alabama. Constructed after 1941 as an auxiliary to the nearby Maxwell Field, it was turned back into farmland after the war.

Prattville High School, formerly Autauga County High School, is a high school in Prattville, Alabama, United States. It forms part of the Autauga County School System. In 2010, it had an enrollment of 2,109 students and a faculty of 103 teachers in grades 9-12. In 2014, it had 2,057 students and 98 teachers. In 2018, there were 2,066 students, 101 teachers, and 5 administrators. The Autauga County Technology Center shares the same campus.
