Edward B. Seymour House is a historic home located on the Germantown-Mount Airy neighborhood boundary of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1891, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Wissahickon schist and shingle dwelling in the Queen Anne-style. It features a rounded corner tower topped by a conical roof and a stepped gable. The house was designed by gilded age architect, Horace Trumbauer. Also on the property is a contributing garage, built in 1909.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

According to The New York Times of May 21, 1889: The Hon. Horatio G. Jones, President of the Trustees of the George Nugent Home for Baptists at Germantown, Philadelphia, announced that the home had a foundation or endowment of $300,000 or $400,000, and was ready to receive all Baptist ministers and their wives over sixty years of age. The inmates are supported for life.

It was built in 1925, and is a nine-story, H-shaped, reinforced concrete building faced in brick in a Federal Revival-style. It features terra cotta decorative elements.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Lincoln Drive is a 4.1 mile road in the Wissahickon Creek section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Initially built in 1856 as the Wissahickon Turnpike, it was not completed until about 50 years later. The road is called the “Dead Man’s Gulch” due to its twisting and turning. Initially, the purpose of the road was to provide access from the mills to the city of Philadelphia.Some historic locations that the road passes include Historic RittenhouseTown, Germantown, and Chestnut Hill. From the 1930s until 1960, Lincoln Drive was designated as the southernmost part of U.S. Route 309.

The Mayfair House was a historic 14 story apartment building completed in 1926 and located at 401 West Johnson Street in the West Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Lincoln Drive between Johnson and Cliveden Streets. It was considered "one of the city's most original and distinctive landmarks, a major architectural work."It may be considered part of a set of three apartment buildings in the area, the others being the Alden Park Manor and McCallum Manor which offered a type of modern city living in the early 20th century in a suburban, even rustic, setting. The Regency architecture also offered "ethnic continuity" to Philadelphia's anglophile culture.The building has been destroyed and 401 West Johnson Street is now an empty lot.

Germantown Township, also known as German Township, was a township that was located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States. The municipality ceased to exist and was incorporated into the City of Philadelphia following the passage of the Act of Consolidation, 1854.

The Tulpehocken Station Historic District is a historic area in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Large suburban houses were built in the area from about 1850 to 1900 in a variety of styles including Carpenter Gothic, Italianate, and Bracketed as part of the Picturesque Movement of architecture. In the 1870s styles moved toward High Victorian and Second Empire. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and it covers about six square blocks, bounded by McCallum Street on the north, the Pennsylvania Railroad tracks on the south, Tulpehocken Street on the west, and Walnut Lane on the east. Thirty-seven buildings in the district are considered to be significant and 118 are considered to be contributing, with only 13 considered to be intrusions.

Weavers Way Co-op is a member-owned consumers' cooperative in Philadelphia's West Mt. Airy section. Founded in 1973, Weavers Way Co-op was formed as a neighborhood buying club in a church basement. Since its incorporation, it has grown to more than 5,000 member households, with annual sales of nearly $20 million. After moving to its location at 559 Carpenter Lane, Weavers Way expanded, purchasing the adjacent building and consolidating the two buildings. Subsequent expansions included the purchase of two buildings across the street, which include a retail pet supply store, retail health and wellness store and offices. Weavers Way expanded again, adding a second, larger store in Chestnut Hill, at 8424 Germantown Ave, at the former Caruso's grocery store site, in 2010 and a health and beauty specialty store, also in Chestnut Hill, in 2013. For several years, Weavers Way also ran a third smaller store in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, but that closed in September 2011. The Co-op rents warehouse space several miles away in the Nicetown section, in the SHARE food pantry complex. Two farm operations comprise 5.5 acres, one at Awbury Arboretum in Germantown and one on the grounds of Saul Agricultural High School in Roxborough. Weavers Way has participated in such events and organizations as Mt. Airy Day, Mt. Airy ArtJam, Mt. Airy YouthWorks, Mt. Airy Business Association, Mt. Airy USA (MAUSA), Mt. Airy Village Fair, Chestnut Hill's Fall for the Arts Festival and the XPoNential Music Fest.

Charles W. Henry School is a historic school located at 601 Carpenter Lane (at Greene Street) in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The building was designed by Henry deCourcy Richards and built by Cramp & Co. in 1906–1908. It is a two-story, 20 bay, red brick building in the Colonial Revival-style. Additions were built in 1949–1950 and 1968. It features arched entryways and limestone trim. It was the scene of a bombing during its construction in 1906.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
