Pelverata

Pelverata Falls is a 114-metre-high (374 ft) waterfall in the Snug Tiers, Southern Tasmania. In winter and spring the falls are a spectacular sight and have heaps of water coming over them, however, in summer the falls slows to a trickle and sometimes even dries up completely. The track to Pelverata Falls takes approximately 2 hours return, and also allows you to see Slippery Falls from across the gorge near Pelverata Falls.

Grove is a rural locality in the local government area (LGA) of Huon Valley in the South-east region of Tasmania, Australia. The locality is 35 km southwest of Hobart and 7 km north-east of the town of Huonville. As a rural locality, there are no urban settlements in Grove. The locality is about 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of the town of Kingston. The 2016 census recorded a population of 202 for the state suburb of Kaoota.

Upper Woodstock is a rural locality in the local government area (LGA) of Huon Valley in the South-east LGA region of Tasmania. The locality is about 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) south of the town of Huonville. The 2016 census recorded a population of 71 for the state suburb of Upper Woodstock.

Lower Longley is a rural locality situated on the borders of the Kingborough and Huon Valley local government areas, which straddles the Huon Highway and is made up primarily of acreage properties. Lower Longley had 131 inhabitants as of the 2011 Australian Census. Despite being called Lower Longley, the suburb is physically higher than neighbouring Longley.

Huonville is a town on the Huon River, in the south-east of Tasmania, Australia. It is the seat of the Huon Valley Council area and lies 38 km south of Hobart on the Huon Highway. At the 2016 census, Huonville had a population of 2,714 and at the 2011 census had a population of 1,741.

Huonville High School is a government co-educational comprehensive secondary school located in Huonville, a town to the south of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Established in 1940, the school caters for approximately 400 students from Years 7 to 12. The Tasmanian Department of Education administers the school.In 2015, Huonville High School partnered with Dover District High School to offer year 11 courses, making them one of the first Government high schools to go to year 11. Students undertake courses at the Advanced Learning Centre or the Huon Valley Trade Training Centre.

Allens Rivulet is a rural residential locality in the local government area (LGA) of Kingborough in the Hobart LGA region of Tasmania. The locality is about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south-west of the town of Kingston. The 2021 census recorded a population of 506 for Allens Rivulet.

Sandfly is a suburb in the Kingborough Council local government area in Tasmania, Australia. A region of the Franklin Electorate, Sandfly is a historic area that sits between the suburbs of Longley, Lower Longley, Allens Rivulet, Margate, Leslie Vale and Kaoota. The population of Sandfly in 2011 was 156.

Ranelagh is a township in the Huon Valley of Tasmania, Australia. It is a satellite town of Huonville, to which it is adjacent, and is a former agricultural area and now a tourist town and residence for workers who commute to other areas for work. At the 2011 census, Ranelagh had 1,027 people.It is best known for the Ranelagh Showgrounds which host the annual Huon Show and Taste of the Huon events which are major tourism attractions for the Huon Valley.

Mountain River is a rural locality in the local government area (LGA) of Huon Valley in the South-east LGA region of Tasmania. The locality is about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north-east of the town of Huonville. The 2016 census recorded a population of 559 for the state suburb of Mountain River. The locality increasingly is a lifestyle destination, being only about 30 minutes south of the Tasmanian capital Hobart by road. Neighboring localities are Grove, Crabtree, Lower Longley, Lucaston, Collinsvale and Lachlan. Mountain River is named for a stream that rises in the Wellington Range and flows through the Mountain River and Huon valleys to join the Huon River near Huonville. Its major tributary, the Crabtree Rivulet, also rises in the Wellington Range.
