Rye is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 5,543 at the 2020 census. The town is home to several state parks along the Atlantic coastline.

Rye Town Hall is an historic town hall located at 10 Central Road in Rye, New Hampshire. Constructed in 1839 and purchased by the town in 1873, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Elijah Locke House is a historic house at 5 Grove Road in Rye, New Hampshire. Traditionally ascribed a construction date of 1739, it is one of the oldest surviving buildings in New Hampshire's Seacoast region. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Water Country is a water park located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. It opened in 1984 and was owned by the Samuels family until they were bought out by Festival Fun Parks in 2000. The park is now owned by Palace Entertainment and has a number of slides and swimming pools that range for all ages. Their commercials feature a jingle that has remained the same since the park opened in 1984. The melody is reminiscent of Mungo Jerry's 1970 hit "In the Summertime". It was composed by Tom Roussell in 1985 while working for Kevin Tracey Productions and later re-recorded when the original 10 year license expired. Water Country allows its guests to bring picnic lunches into the park. A number of picnic areas are available at various points throughout the park. Alcoholic beverages and smoking, however, are prohibited in the park, as are glass containers. Water Country's mascot was a polar bear named Patches, but Patches was given to Water Country's sister park, Lake Compounce in Connecticut. Water Country no longer has a mascot but now operates with a surfing theme.

Rye Harbor State Park is a public recreation area located on the Atlantic Ocean in the town of Rye, New Hampshire. The portion of the state park located on the peninsula known as Ragged Neck offers scenic views of the ocean, the Isles of Shoals, and the town harbor. Activities include saltwater fishing and picnicking. Amenities include benches, picnic tables, pavilion, and restrooms.The park includes the 1614 Monument, an obelisk dedicated in 2014 to Captain John Smith, who explored the coast of New England in 1614. Also in the park is New Hampshire Historical Marker No. 18, which provides information about the Isles of Shoals.

Jenness State Beach is a small state park located on the Atlantic Ocean in the town of Rye, New Hampshire. The park offers swimming at a sandy beach with a bathhouse and picnicking. The parking lot can accommodate 67 cars.

The Urban Forestry Center is a 182-acre (74 ha) state-owned forest and environmental education center in the city of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. There are several buildings, garden demonstration areas, and trails which are used for walking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.The Center is used as a tree farm and forestry education center. The property includes a 95-acre (38 ha) forest management area, a red pine and a spruce plantation, and an arboretum for tree identification. There are self-guided trails through the woodlands systems.

Smuttynose Brewing Company is a craft brewery located on Towle Farm in Hampton, New Hampshire, United States. The company takes its name from Smuttynose Island, one of the Isles of Shoals. Smuttynose beers are all unfiltered and known for their distinctive labels, many of which feature original photography. Their beer is distributed in 25 states and 11 countries. The Towle Farm campus has been certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.In March 2018, the company was sold at auction and subsequently purchased by Runnymede Investments of North Hampton, New Hampshire.

The Beach Club is a private oceanfront club at 2450 Ocean Boulevard in Rye, New Hampshire. Founded in 1925, it is the only beachfront private club to survive from the early 20th century along New Hampshire's coast. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Rye Beach is an unincorporated community along the Atlantic Ocean in Rye, New Hampshire, United States. It is located along New Hampshire Route 1A near the southern border of the town of Rye, directly south of Jenness State Beach and north of Little Boar's Head (in the neighboring town of North Hampton). Rye Beach has a separate ZIP code (03871) from the rest of the town of Rye.

WHEB (100.3 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and serving the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. The station airs a mainstream rock radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia. WHEB broadcasts in the HD Radio format. A commercial-free dance music format airs over the HD2 subchannel, under the brand 24 Hour Cardio Mix. WHEB's studios, offices and transmitter are on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth.

St. Andrew's-by-the-Sea is a historic Episcopal chapel on Church Road, southeast of the junction with South Road and Route 1A in Rye, New Hampshire. Built in 1876, it is the only known religious work of Boston architects Winslow & Wetherell, and one of a modest number of churches built for summer vacationers in the state. It is an eclectic mix of Gothic Revival and Stick Style, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
