Plymouth Argyle Women Football Club, formerly known as Plymouth Argyle Ladies Football Club, are a women's amateur association football club based in the city of Plymouth, Devon, England. They compete in the FA Women's National League South. Founded in 1975, they come under the bracket of Plymouth Argyle F.C., and play their home games at Manadon Sports Hub, Plymouth, which is owned and operated by the PAFC Community Trust.

Elburton is a small suburb of Plymstock, part of the City of Plymouth in the English county of Devon. It lies on the south eastern edge of Plymouth and is a gateway to the South Hams. Coombe Dean School Academy, opened in 1976, is a secondary school located on the outskirts of Plymouth, Devon, England. As of April 2018, it had 970 pupils. The school gained Specialist School status in September 2003. Ofsted awarded the school 'Outstanding' status in 2009 and 2012. However, in November 2018 the school received 'Requires Improvement'. The school’s latest Ofsted report, in March 2022, returned a grading of ‘Good’. Improvements to the school’s progress 8 outcomes have placed it favourably in the rankings of other non-selective Plymouth schools. The school’s progress outcomes for disadvantaged learners in 2023 were significantly above the national average. The school’s values are Community, Integrity and Opportunity. As a high performing school, Coombe Dean was given the option to become an independent academy in 2010, which was actioned in September 2011. In 2004, work started on building a larger hall, an all-weather AstroTurf pitch and an extended Mathematics facility with eight new classrooms. A new English block with geothermal heat pump was built in 2007 and renovations to the Technology block were completed in 2008. Also in July 2008, solar panels were integrated into the roof of the School Drama Hall. A new Post-16 block was built as an extension to the Art block in 2012, and an overhaul to the PE block was completed in the summer of 2013. The Science (C) block was renovated to a modern specification in 2013, and the Library (D) block has been updated and extended to incorporate an extended Student Services / Inclusion department (L block.) The school offers The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme and takes part in the annual Ten Tors event. Other applied learning events include; European exchange weeks, tall ships voyages and a sailing school. During the Easters of 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, students from the school visited Everest Base Camp to donate computer equipment and clothing to a Nepalese school.

Plymstock School is a state comprehensive secondary school (ages 11–19) in Plymstock, a suburb of Plymouth, Devon, England. It was the first West Devon comprehensive school (built on the core of a post war secondary school) and is now a Specialist Sports College. As of January 2011 it has 1,626 students, of whom 240 are in the sixth form. In April 2011, the school became an academy. Plymstock School was maintained by Devon County Council until 1 April 1967, when it was transferred to Plymouth City Council which has maintained it until April 2011. In 2003 it underwent what was reported as a budget crisis, forcing redundancies and reduced spending on new classrooms to replace temporary facilities. Many of the latest school ratings, in local and national newspapers, have placed Plymstock in the top 5 of Plymouth schools, with the higher ranked schools being selective or fee-paying schools, and within the top 800 of England. Saltram House is a grade I listed George II era house in Plympton, Devon, England. It was deemed by the architectural critic Pevsner to be "the most impressive country house in Devon". The house was designed by the architect Robert Adam, who altered and greatly expanded the original Tudor house on two occasions. The Saloon is considered one of Adam's finest interiors. Saltram is one of Britain's best preserved examples of an early Georgian house and retains much of its original decor, plasterwork and furnishings. It contains the Parker family's large collection of paintings, including several by Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792), born and educated at Plympton and a friend of the Parker family. The present building was commenced by John Parker (1703–1768) of nearby Boringdon Hall, Plympton, and of Court House, North Molton, both in Devon, together with his wife Catherine Poulett (1706-1758), a daughter of John Poulett, 1st Earl Poulett. It was completed by his son John Parker, 1st Baron Boringdon (1735-1788), whose son was John Parker, 1st Earl of Morley (1772-1840). The Parker family had risen to prominence in the mid-16th century as the bailiff of the manor of North Molton, Devon, under Baron Zouche of Haryngworth.The Saltram Estate was transferred to the National Trust in lieu of death duties in 1957, and is open to the public. Saltram House was used as one of several local settings for the 1995 film Sense and Sensibility.

The Lodge is a Grade II listed building in Plympton, Devon, England. Standing at 103 Fore Street, the western end of Plympton's main street, it is a detached villa dating to the early- or mid-19th century.A four-storey building (only two visible from the street), it has a dry-slate hipped roof with projecting eaves. It has a double-depth floor plan, believed to include two rooms at the front either side of a central entrance hall.In 1999, the property's front garden was excavated by Time Team, after presenter Tony Robinson pointed out to Mick Aston, from their helicopter hovering above Fore Street, that the property was the only one set back from the road. Carenza Lewis received permission from the homeowner to dig an exploratory trench in her lawn, having seen a row of buildings on the same property on 18th-century maps.
