Camelot, Kirkham

Kirkham is a suburb of the Macarthur Region of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia in Camden Council. The suburb is largely undeveloped at present and possibly will remain so since much of it is on low-lying flood-prone land.

Kirkham Stables is a heritage-listed former horse stud and dairy and now vacant building and beef cattle farm at Kirkham Lane in the south-western Sydney suburb of Narellan in the Camden Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1816 by John Oxley. It is also known as Kirkham Stables and Precinct. The property is privately owned. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 11 August 2000.

Camden Council is a local government area in the Macarthur region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The area is located south west of the Sydney central business district and comprises 201 square kilometres (78 sq mi) with an estimated population at the 2021 census of 119,325. Macquarie Grove is a heritage-listed former airport administration offices and private residence and now private residence located at Aerodrome Road, Cobbitty, in the south-western Sydney suburb of Camden in the Camden Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1812 to 1850. The property is privately owned. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Wivenhoe is an historic house built in 1837 at Narellan, near Camden, in New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by the Sydney architect John Verge who also designed Camden Park and Elizabeth Bay House. The house has had some very notable residents. The building is now used as Mater Dei Special School, an inclusive school for children with intellectual disabilities, and is administered by Good Samaritan Education. The building is open for inspection by the public.

Mater Dei School is an independent Good Samaritan Education co-educational inclusive day school located in the outer south-western Macarthur region of Sydney, in the rural town of Camden, in New South Wales, Australia. The school is part of a broader organisation of the same name, Mater Dei, and provides early intervention and early childhood education for babies and children with a developmental delay, and education and therapy services for children and young people with an intellectual disability. The School is one of four programs part of Mater Dei: Mater Dei School, as the oldest and original educational offering, NextPath Continuous Learning, NextPath Assessment & Therapy and Mater Dei Early Childhood Education.

Camden railway station was a railway station in Camden and the terminus of the Camden line in South Western Sydney. It opened along with the line on 10 March 1882 and closed along with it on 1 January 1963. Apart from the station master's residence, the station is no longer extant.

Elderslie High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Narellan, a town in the Macarthur region, southwest of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1977, the school provides education for approximately 950 students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education; the principal is Jennifer Lawrence.

Nant Gwylan and Garden is a heritage-listed residential garden at Exeter Street in the south-western Sydney suburb of Camden in the Camden Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Elderslie is a suburb of the Macarthur Region of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia in Camden Council. In addition, it is located on the east side of the Nepean River. It has a small local shop, high school, primary school, skateboard park, netball courts, cricket, Australian Football (AFL) oval, Rugby League oval, a BMX track and a historic house, John Oxley Cottage, which was built in the 1890s and converted into the Camden Visitors' centre in 1989. It was named after explorer John Oxley who held an early grant of land in the area.

Camden is a historic town and suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, located 65 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district. Camden was the administrative centre for the local government area of Camden Council until July/August 2016 and is a part of the Macarthur region.

Camden Airport (IATA: CDU, ICAO: YSCN) is an aerodrome located on the outskirts of Sydney, 1 nautical mile (1.9 km; 1.2 mi) northwest of Camden, New South Wales, Australia. The airport is located approximately 60 km (37 mi) from Sydney's central business district. Camden is used as a general aviation overflow airport for the busier Bankstown Airport, and provides facilities for gliding and ballooning. The aerodrome has one grass runway and one paved runway and two glider airstrips. It is in the south-west corner of the designated Sydney flight training area.
