Drei Buchen is a hill pass in the central Palatine Forest in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It lies in the estate of the village of Ramberg at a height of 403 metres above sea level (NHN). The L 506 state road runs over the pass from Ramberg to Weyher. At the top of the pass is an inn, the Waldhaus Drei Buchen. The name Drei Buchen means "Three Beeches".

The responsible body that set the museum up in 1997 and has run it since then is the Local History and Museum Society of the Brushmakers' Workshop, Ramber (Heimat- und Museumsverein des Bürstenmacherhandwerks Ramberg e. V.).

Meistersel Castle is a ruined castle near Ramberg on the outskirts of the Palatinate Forest in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located on a 492-metre-high hilltop that towers above the Modenbach valley near the Three Beeches pass (Drei Buchen) on the road from Ramberg to Edenkoben. Meistersel Castle is one of the oldest castles in the Palatinate. Its name is derived from the words Meister ("master") and Saal ("hall") and hence the term Meister des Saales or master of the hall/chamberlain. It is likely that it was a seat for ministeriales of the imperial castle of Trifels. Its other name, Modeneck, comes from the name of the nearby stream.

The Roßberg near Ramberg in the county of Südliche Weinstraße in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate is, at 637 m above sea level (NHN), the third highest mountain in the Palatine Forest. The Roßberg lies in the Haardt, the eastern mountain range of the Palatine Forest in the Palatine Forest Nature Park. Its summit rises 1.5 km east of the municipality of Ramberg on the territory of the village of Burrweiler, 3.7 km to the southeast. The Ziegelbach stream, a right tributary of the Modenbach, rises on the eastern side of the mountain. The Roßberg is entirely forested. There is no clearing at the top that enables views of the surrounding countryside. From the south the summit may be reached on a forest track. Another approach from the east is overgrown in places.

The castle of Neuscharfeneck is a ruin and a cultural monument above Ramberg and Dernbach on the territory of an exclave of Flemlingen in the district of Südliche Weinstraße in the west German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The Frankenburg is a natural monument with the ruins of a rock castle in the county of Südliche Weinstraße in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It lies above the Modenbach valley on a rocky outcrop of the Frankenberg called the Frankenfelsen and was built to guard the road opposite Meistersel Castle. Today, all that remains of the Frankenburg are a few wall remnants and manmade traces on the rock. The rocky outcrop on the Frankenberg lies at a height of 545 metres above sea level.

The Schänzel Tower (German: Schänzelturm) is a 13-metre-high viewing tower on the Steigerkopf near Edenkoben in the county of Südliche Weinstraße in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It was built in 1874 and is the highest-located tower in the mountain range of the Palatinate Forest.

The Steigerkopf, also colloquially called the Schänzel, near Edenkoben in the county of Südliche Weinstraße in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, is a mountain, 613.6 m above sea level (NHN), in the Palatine Forest. At the summit, which lies on the territory of Gommersheim, is the Schänzel tower.

The Hainbach, historically also called the Heimbach (see History section), in its lower reaches also called the Wooggraben and Krebsbächel, is a river, over 33 kilometres long, and a right tributary of the Speyerbach in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. In the Middle Ages there was a fortified abbey by the middle reaches of the river which belonged to a Roman Catholic religious order and acted as the regional administrative centre or commandry.
