Bergen County Technical High School, also known as Bergen Tech (BT), is a four-year, tuition-free public magnet high school located in Teterboro, New Jersey serving students in ninth through twelfth grades in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. Bergen Tech is part of the Bergen County Technical Schools, a countywide district that also includes Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, Applied Technology in Paramus, and Bergen Tech in Paramus. The school is nationally recognized, as students have the opportunity to be engaged in a technical major while fulfilling college preparatory classes and having the opportunity to take a wide variety of electives. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 678 students and 68.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.0:1. The Aviation Hall Of Fame & Museum of New Jersey was founded in 1972 and preserves New Jersey's aviation and space heritage. The 1937 Fox vault fire was a major fire that broke out in a 20th Century-Fox film-storage facility in Little Ferry, New Jersey, United States, on July 9, 1937. Flammable nitrate film had previously contributed to several fires in film-industry laboratories, studios, and vaults, although the precise causes were often unknown. In Little Ferry, gases produced by decaying film, combined with high temperatures and inadequate ventilation, resulted in spontaneous combustion. One death and two injuries resulted from the fire, which also destroyed all the archived film in the vaults, resulting in the loss of most of the silent films produced by the Fox Film Corporation before 1932. Also destroyed were negatives from Educational Pictures to Belarusfilm (with which Fox was then affiliated) and films of several other studios. The fire brought attention to the potential for decaying nitrate film to spontaneously ignite and changed the focus of film preservation efforts to include a greater focus on fire safety.

It is owned and managed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and operated by AFCO AvPORTS Management. The airport is in the New Jersey Meadowlands, 12 miles (19 km) from Midtown Manhattan, which makes it popular for private and corporate aircraft. The airport has a weight limit of 100,000 pounds (45,000 kg) on aircraft, making it nonviable as an airline airport. The airport takes up almost all of Teterboro and consists of 827 acres (3.35 km2): 90 acres (0.36 km2) for aircraft hangar and offices, 408 acres (1.65 km2) for aeronautical use and runways, and 329 acres (1.33 km2) undeveloped. The airport has more than 1,137 employees, of whom more than 90% are full-time. In April 2009, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the airport had the third highest rate of wildlife strikes of any airport in the United States, based on takeoffs and landings (43 per 100,000).Teterboro is home to many private aviation charter companies flying nationally and globally.

The John Hopper House is located in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1818 by John I. Hopper. The Hopper house has been used as a restaurant since 1937. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 9, 1983.
