Kerala State Financial Enterprises Limited (KSFE) is a public sector chit fund and loan company based in Thrissur city, Kerala, India.

Chinnakada Clock Tower (Malayalam: ചിന്നക്കട ക്ലോക്ക്ടവര്‍) is a landmark in Kollam City in the Indian state of Kerala. In Chinnakada, the tower lies in the heart of the city, close to Kollam Junction Railway Station. As the first clock tower in the erstwhile Travancore state, it has become a non-official emblem of the city and the major landmark of Kollam.

Proximity of Andamukkam with other neighbourhoods of Kollam is making it a prime commercial centre and transportation hub of the city.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Police Museum is a museum that traces the history and growth of the police force in India. It is located just opposite the Kollam Junction Railway Station in Kollam, India. The museum is dedicated to barrister and statesman, Vallabhbhai Patel.

Kollam Junction railway station (station code: QLN) is an NSG–2 category Indian railway station in Thiruvananthapuram railway division of Southern Railway zone.) It is a junction station situated in the city of Kollam in Kerala, India. It is the second largest railway station in Kerala in terms of area and largest in terms of number of tracks and one of the oldest railway stations in the state. It is also the second busiest railway station in Kerala in terms of trains handled per day. World's third longest railway platform is situated at Kollam railway station. Kollam Junction lies on Kollam–Thiruvananthapuram trunk line. It is operated by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways and comes under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division. The annual passenger ticket revenue of Kollam railway station is ₹103.07 crore (US$12 million) and 23,048 is the daily ridership through this station. It is one among the few railway stations in Kerala having two terminals with ticket counter facility. Four express trains have been originating from Kollam Junction railway station to South Indian cities of Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati: Visakhapatnam–Kollam Express (weekly), Anantapuri Express (daily), Chennai Egmore–Kollam Junction Express (daily), and Kollam–Tirupati Express (weekly).

Andamukkam City bus stand, Kollam, is one of the two bus stands in the city of Kollam in the Indian state of Kerala. Situated in the Downtown Kollam area, it is also known as Andamukkam private bus stand. The bus stand is only for private city buses and Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) ordinary bus services running to Chinnakada. It is the starting point of various city bus services connecting Chinnakada to Mayyanad, Elampalloor, Sakthikulangara, Chavara, Thoppilkadavu, Prakkulam, Kottiyam, Perumon and Kadavoor. KSRTC have plans to start an operations centre at the bus station.

A. A. Rahim memorial District Hospital, Kollam is a general hospital located in Kollam, Kerala, India. It is the main referral hospital for the Kollam district, and it provides a wide range of medical services, including inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and research. It was established on December 20, 1957, under the ownership of as a secondary level care institution. It was renamed after A.A. Rahim, politician, freedom fighter, and union minister. District hospital Kollam has sanctioned bed strength of 537.

Government Victoria Hospital, established in 1887, is a maternity hospital in Kollam, Kerala, India. It was the first maternity hospital in Travancore, and is known as Kollam's "hospital of ‘women and children". It is functioning under the control of Kollam Jilla Panchayath. Projects including an Autism Clinic, Swapnachiraku, Infertility Clinic, Mathrusanthwanam, Snehathooval and MRI scanning unit are implemented by Kollam Jilla Panchayath in the hospital for the last years. The hospital has a monthly average outpatient (OP) of 15500, inpatient (IP) of 1300 and around 500 deliveries.

Thamarakulam or Thamarakkulam is a business centre and neighbourhood of Kollam city in Kerala, India. Thamarakulam is a part of Downtown Kollam area and is near Chinnakada.

Kollam MEMU Shed is an ISO certified motive power depot facility for maintaining MEMU rakes, situated in the city of Kollam in the Indian state of Kerala. It is one of the four MEMU rake maintenance sheds serving the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. Kollam MEMU Shed is functioning as the control and coordination center of MEMU trains running through Kerala state.
