The Fengshan Tiangong Temple (traditional Chinese: 鳳山天公廟; simplified Chinese: 凤山天公庙; pinyin: Fèngshān Tiāngōng Miào) is a temple in Fengshan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This temple is dedicated to Jade Emperor.

Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra, also known as Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra (KCSO or KSO; Chinese: 高雄市交響樂團; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shì Jiāoxiǎng Yuètuán) is a Taiwanese orchestra based in Fengshan District, Kaohsiung. It is also the only professional orchestra in Southern Taiwan. The orchestra was owned and ran by the city government until its privatization in 2009.

National Fongshan Senior Commercial & Industrial Vocational School (FSVS) is a National vocational high school with departments ranging from machine, design to business management. It also opens PE departments and comprehensive vocational department. There are currently eight departments that make up sixty five classes in the day time and twelve others in the night time, both sum up nearly 3000 registered students.

The Fongshan Stadium (Chinese: 高雄市立鳳山體育場; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shìlì Fèngshān Tǐyùchǎng), formerly known as the Kaohsiung County Stadium (高雄縣立體育場), is a multi-purpose stadium in Fongshan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home venue of the Taipower Football Club. The stadium is able to hold 18,000 people and was opened in 1976.

The Fengshan Arena (Chinese: 高雄市立鳳山體育館; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shìlì Fèngshān Tǐyùchǎng), is an indoor sporting arena located in Fongshan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is part of the Fengshan Sports Park, which includes the indoor Fengshan arena, Fongshan Stadium football pitch, running track, ice rink, Fengxi Sports Park, tennis courts and other sporting facilities. The sports complex underwent significant renovations in Nov 2017. The area was reopened in March 2018. The arena is mostly for volleyball and basketball and serves as the home of the Kaohsung 17LIVE Steelers. The stadium is able to hold 5,300 people and was opened in 1976.

The Republic of China Military Academy (Chinese: 中華民國陸軍軍官學校; pinyin: Zhōnghúa Mīngúo Lùjūn Jūnguān Xúexiào; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-hôa Bîn-kok Lio̍k-kun Kun-koaⁿ Ha̍k-hāu), also known as the Taiwan Military Academy, is the service academy for the army of the Republic of China in Taiwan. Previously known as the Whampoa Military Academy, the military academy produced commanders who fought in many of China's conflicts in the 20th century, notably the Northern Expedition, the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Chinese Civil War. The military academy was officially opened on May 1, 1924, but the first lessons began on June 16, 1924. The inauguration was on Changzhou Island offshore from the Whampoa (Huangpu) dock in Guangzhou, thus earning its name. During the inaugural ceremonies, Sun Yat-sen delivered a speech that was later to become the lyrics of the national anthem of the Republic of China. It has been considered one of the most important institutions of the Republic of China together with the National Chengchi University, which is a prestigious incubator for senior civil service. After the Republic of China government retreated from China to Taiwan in 1950, the academy was re-established as the Republic of China Military Academy.
