More House School, Frensham is an independent special school located in Surrey. It educates boys aged 8–19 who have learning disabilities. Its headmaster is Jonathan Hetherington. The school has been rated 'Outstanding' in all categories by every Ofsted inspection since 2016.

Gong Hill is a 5.9-hectare (15-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Farnham in Surrey.This heathland site is dominated by ling, bellheather and wavy hair-grass, with other plants including bryophytes and lichens. The south facing aspect of the site and patches of bare sand make it suitable for egg-laying reptiles, including a large population of the endangered and specially protected sand lizard.The site is private land with no public access.

Frensham Heights School is an independent school and sixth form college located near Farnham, Surrey, England, run by the registered charity, Frensham Heights Educational Trust Ltd. It was founded in 1925 and formed as part of the movement for progressive education. Unlike many HMC member schools, it has been coeducational and took both day and boarding pupils since its foundation.

Bourne Wood (also known as Bourne Woods) is an area of predominantly coniferous woodland just south of Farnham, Surrey, England; the area is often used as a film location. Near to another area also used as a film location (Hankley Common in Elstead), locally it was known as The Clumps, and was called this until Forestry England changed the name in the 1950s when fire breaks were introduced. Charles Darwin may have written about the area in Appendices of Natural Selection, describing the trees in clumps. A promontory (rise) above a large heathland clearing (used for the filming of Gladiator) provides views over the surrounding woodland. Much of the wood was formerly heathland at the western end of the Greensand Ridge that was developed privately during the 20th century as commercial conifer plantations. This part of the wood has been purchased by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and is being restored mainly to heath, with retention of some woodland of wildlife significance, as Farnham Heath nature reserve. Their aim is to benefit scarce heathland species such as nightjar, woodlark, Dartford warbler and tree pipit as well as species such as sand lizard.

Underdown is a 1-hectare (2.5-acre) nature reserve in Farnham in Surrey. It is owned and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.This reserve was donated to the Trust by Mrs Underdown in memory of her husband in 1987. It is a steeply sloping area of gorse and heather together with mixed woodland. There is a variety of invertebrates, including solitary wasps.There is access by a footpath from Sandrock Hill Road.

Frensham Common is a large Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) heathland of 373 hectares (922 acres) which includes two lakes; it is owned and operated by the National Trust.

The Old Kiln Light Railway is a 2 ft (610 mm) narrow gauge railway at the Rural Life Living Museum in Tilford, near Farnham, Surrey. It has a collection of historic locomotives and rolling stock including two steam locomotives. It operates on most weekends in the summer and occasionally certain midweek days during school half term.

Green Lane Cemetery is a small cemetery on Green Lane in Farnham in Surrey, one of four cemeteries owned and maintained by Farnham Town Council. The Chapel and Cemetery were opened in 1914 and are on a hill which commands views across to the West of Farnham and Farnham Castle. The Chapel could seat up to 80 people but had little use in recent years and was sold by Farnham Town Council for use as a Meeting House for the Plymouth Brethren. The cemetery is divided into six sections allowing for the burial of different denominations; there is a small children's area and an area dedicated to the interment of cremated remains.The cemetery has 13 military burials, two from World War I and eleven from World War II, the latter including two pilots – P/O Evelyn Creen Stuart Wilson-Steele of 219 Squadron (killed 1942) and Sgt Michael Henry John Kilburn. Kilburn joined the RAFVR aged 18 to train as a pilot and was completing his last two weeks of training when he was killed during a training flight in January 1942. He was initially buried along with the other seven members of his crew at Dyce Old Churchyard near Aberdeen. However, his family in Farnham must have applied to the RAF to have his remains returned to his home town and in 1943 he was reinterred in the plot here. Buried nearby is Lt Ernest Lyford of the Home Guard who was accidentally killed in 1943 aged 55 while training with bombs.

The Rural Life Living Museum is in Tilford, Surrey near Farnham in southern England. Formerly known as the Old Kiln Agricultural Museum and the Rural Life Centre, it is an open-air museum of country life run by the Old Kiln Museum Trust, a charitable trust. It covers over 10 acres (40,000 m2) of field, woodland and barns, and collects and preserves objects associated with farming and goods used by local craftsmen between 1750 and 1960. There is also an arboretum with over one hundred species of trees.The museum displays farming through the seasons, local hop growing, tools and crafts allied to country industries and needs. The social history of village life from the 19th century is displayed covering school life, domestic work, period shops and trades. There is a working iron furnace and a woodyard, both run by the volunteers. It also hosts the 2 ft (610 mm) narrow gauge Old Kiln Light Railway and a Blacksmith's forge.The museum was originally assembled as a private collection by Henry and Madge Jackson, starting from 1948 when they moved into the adjacent Old Kiln Cottage. The Old Kiln Agricultural Museum itself first opened in 1973, originally occupying Henry's Yard, a small part of the current site. In 1984 the museum trust was created to secure the museum's future, and the museum was renamed as the Rural Life Centre. Madge and Henry both died in the early years of the 21st century. In 2019 the museum obtained further funding and was again renamed, this time to the Rural Life Living Museum.

Frensham is a village in Surrey, England, next to the A287 road, 13 miles (20.9 km) WSW of Guildford, the county town. Frensham lies on the right bank of the River Wey (south branch), only navigable to canoes, shortly before its convergence with the north branch. Farnham is the nearest town, 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to the north. The majority of Frensham parish is within the Metropolitan Green Belt and the substantial green buffer in the parish is Frensham Common which is owned by the National Trust and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The non-agricultural land surrounding the village is mainly open heathland and birch woodland. The Common covers about 1,000 acres (400 ha) and comprises heathland, together with some coniferous and mixed woodland. There are two large ponds, known as Frensham Great and Little Ponds, which were built in the Middle Ages to provide fish for the Bishop of Winchester's estate and today are the backdrop for a hotel and are used for fishing and sailing.

Farnham Grammar School is now called Farnham College which is located in Farnham, Surrey, southern England.

Farnham College is a coeducational sixth form college in Farnham in the English county of Surrey. It has a single campus in a residential area just to the south of Farnham town centre, and is now a foundation college. The majority of its land is leased from the Farnham College Foundation, which is governed by a board of trustees, four of whom are college governors. The college offers a wide range of A-level and vocational qualifications and also caters for students with physical disabilities and special learning needs.
