City Church, Preston

Preston Crown Court, or more properly the Crown Court at Preston, is a criminal court on the Ring Way in Preston, Lancashire, England. The court is based on two sites in the city; Preston Combined Court Centre on Ringway and Sessions House on Lancaster Road. As a first tier court centre, the court deals with all types of cases that are heard in the Crown Court as well as being a trial centre for civil High Court cases; it is also a venue for the County Court where smaller civil cases and family cases are dealt with.

The Syro-Malabar Cathedral of St Alphonsa is a Catholic cathedral of the Syro-Malabar rite in Preston, Lancashire. It is the cathedral of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Great Britain, and was previously St Ignatius Church under the Diocese of Lancaster. It is situated close to the Preston city centre, with the entrance on Meadow Street. The building was opened in 1836 and was the first church in Preston to have a spire.Since January 2015, the church has been used as a cathedral for the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. In 2016 Pope Francis raised the status of the church to that of cathedral and appointed Monsignor Joseph (Benny Mathew) Srampickal as the first bishop.

All Saints Church is located in Elizabeth Street, Preston, Lancashire, England. It is an evangelical Anglican parish church in the deanery of Preston, the archdeaconry of Lancaster, and the diocese of Blackburn. The church was built in 1846-1848 for the sum of £2000. It was built in the Classical style with six Ionic columns supporting a pedimented portico facade, and is now Grade II listed. It was one of the few churches in the country to be built by subscription and set up under Private Patronage. Nathan Buttery was inducted on 10 January to become the new vicar of All Saints, after their interregnum as their previous vicar, Daf Meirion-Jones, moved to Chessington Evangelical Church.

The Covered Market in Earl Street, Preston, Lancashire, England is a Grade II listed landmark structure built 1870-75. After three aborted attempts to start the project in the early 1800s, and a serious construction accident in 1870 that set back progress, the covered market was finished in 1875. Since then, new buildings have been added to the market and it has been modernized several times.

The statue of Feathers McGraw is a bronze sculpture in Preston, England, placed at the corner of Lowthian and Orchard Streets, in front of the cinema Animate Preston at Tenterfield Street and the Covered Market at Earl Street. It depicts Feathers McGraw, a penguin criminal mastermind antagonist from the 1993 short film The Wrong Trousers from the Wallace & Gromit, a clay animation franchise created by Nick Park and produced by Aardman Animations. It was unveiled on 20 February 2025.

Preston bus station is the central bus station in the city of Preston in Lancashire, England. It was built by Ove Arup and Partners in the Brutalist architectural style between 1968 and 1969, to a design by Keith Ingham and Charles Wilson of Building Design Partnership with E. H. Stazicker. In the 2000s the building was threatened with demolition as part of the City Council's Tithebarn redevelopment project. After two unsuccessful attempts, it was granted Grade II listed building status in September 2013. It was then refurbished and officially re-opened in 2018.

The statues of Wallace and Gromit is a bronze sculpture in Preston, Lancashire, England, at the corner of Earl and Market Streets, placed at the entrance to the Covered Market. It depicts the titular characters from Wallace & Gromit, a claymation franchise created by Nick Park and produced by Aardman Animations. It was designed by Park, together with other artists at Aardman Animations, and with local sculptor Peter Hodgkinson. The monument was unveiled on 10 September 2021.

The Preston Cenotaph stands in Market Square, Preston, Lancashire, England, and is a monument to soldiers from Preston who perished in World War I and II. Unveiled on 13 June 1926, the memorial was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott with sculptural work by Henry Alfred Pegram.
