Llanfoist Fawr

Llanfoist (Welsh: Llan-ffwyst) is a village near Abergavenny, in Monmouthshire, Wales, in the community of Llanfoist Fawr. Llanfoist derives from Ffwyst, an early Christian Welsh saint, although the anglicised version of the church patron is Saint Faith. The population was 1,228 in 2011.

Grove Farm House, Llanfoist, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century. Reputedly the site of Beili-du, the home of Hywel y Coed, the brother of Dafydd Gam, the house was greatly extended in the 18th century, and further work was undertaken in the 19th. By the late 20th century, the house had fallen into dereliction, prior to its rescue in 1994–95. In the 21st century it has been the site for a number of major planning applications, for housing and for a retirement village. A privately owned property, Grove Farm House is a Grade II* listed building.

Abergavenny Bridge, (also known as Usk Bridge), crosses the River Usk at the boundary between Abergavenny and Llanfoist. The bridge carries the A4143. The bridge is of medieval origin, but was substantially reconstructed in the early 19th century, to support a tramroad, and in the mid 19th century, when the two bridges were combined.

Nevill Hall Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty Nevill Hall) is a district general hospital in Abergavenny, north Monmouthshire, Wales. It is managed by the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Linda Vista Gardens is a small urban park in the town of Abergavenny, Monmouthshire Wales. Originally the garden of a private house, the gardens came into public ownership in 1957, and were later extended as a public park. Linda Vista Gardens are registered Grade II on the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales. A K6 telephone box at the entrance to the gardens is listed also at Grade II. The park is managed by Monmouthshire County Council.

Abergavenny (Brecon Road) railway station was a station on the London and North Western Railway's Heads of the Valleys line serving the town of Abergavenny in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire.

The Abergavenny fireworks display is an annual organized fireworks display held each year on 5 November, Guy Fawkes Night in Abergavenny, Wales. The event takes place in Belgrave Park, at the Nevill Hall Hospital end of town (not at the hospital itself). It has been running each year since 1968. The event is run and organized by the local social networking club Abergavenny and District Round Table, which is one of the branches in the UK of the Round Table. It is a non profit event with all proceeds being distributed to charities and good causes, primarily in and around the Abergavenny area. Some of those to have benefited from monies raised from the Abergavenny fireworks display include: Abergavenny Scouts, Crickhowell Scouts, Jigsaw community project, Llanbedr Village Thai Boxing, Mardy Juniors Football, RTB Ebbw Vale Junior AFC Club, a fuller list is on the Abergavenny and District Round Table website.

The Baker Street drill hall is a former military installation in Abergavenny in Wales.

St John's Church was the parish church for Abergavenny, Monmouthshire until the Dissolution of the Monasteries when the priory church of St Mary's Priory became the parish church. The church then became a grammar school and is now part of a masonic lodge. The only parts of the church that still remain are the tower and part of the nave.

Abergavenny Town Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Dref Y Fenni) is a municipal building located on Cross Street, Abergavenny in Monmouthshire, Wales. The town hall, which also houses the town's market, is a Grade II listed building.
