The Neptune Township School District (NTSD) or Neptune Township Schools are a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Neptune Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The district is one of 31 former Abbott districts statewide that were established pursuant to the decision by the New Jersey Supreme Court in Abbott v. Burke which are now referred to as "SDA Districts" based on the requirement for the state to cover all costs for school building and renovation projects in these districts under the supervision of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprised of eight schools, had an enrollment of 4,063 students and 372.0 classroom teachers (on a full-time equivalent basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.9:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

Shark River Park is located in the townships of Neptune, Wall and Tinton Falls in coastal New Jersey and is part of the Monmouth County Park System.The initial park land was established in 1961 with a purchase of 946 acres (383 ha) of land used for construction staging during the building of the Garden State Parkway, becoming Monmouth County's first county owned park. The park is bisected by the Shark River from which the park gets its name and is the source of fossils for local elementary school field trips where students search the river gravel for prehistoric shark's teeth.

Wayside is an unincorporated community located along the border of Tinton Falls Borough and Ocean Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is largely residential though some churches, parks, and schools are located in the area. The main arterial roads in the community are Hope Road (through which the Tinton Falls–Ocean Township municipal line runs), Wayside Road (County Route 38 in Tinton Falls), and West Park Avenue. Access to New Jersey Route 18 is available via nearby interchanges with Deal Road, West Park Avenue, and Wayside Road; the Garden State Parkway's exit 105 is also located north of Wayside. The building that once housed the 16-lane Wayside Bowl-O-Drome is still in use, now as an office building.

The Glendola Reservoir is a reservoir in the Glendola section of Wall Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It was built in 1965. The water from the Glendola Reservoir is pumped to the Swimming River Reservoir where it is treated. The Glendola Reservoir is managed by New Jersey American Water Company and provides drinking water for residents of Monmouth County. There are two possible sources for the Glendola Reservoir, the Shark River and Manasquan River, the selection of source is controlled by the New Jersey American Water company as neither river flows into the reservoir and all water must be pumped to the basin.This Reservoir is completely restricted to any public activity.

Tinton Falls is a borough in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located within the heart of the Jersey Shore region, the borough is a commercial hub of Central Jersey (it is the site of the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and different corporate headquarters) and is an established bedroom suburb of New York City, in the New York Metropolitan Area. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 19,181, an increase of 1,289 (+7.2%) from the 2010 census count of 17,892, which in turn reflected an increase of 2,839 (+18.9%) from the 15,053 counted in the 2000 census.The borough was formed as New Shrewsbury by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on August 15, 1950, based on the results of a referendum held on July 18, 1950, after breaking away from Shrewsbury Township. It was renamed "Tinton Falls" in 1975, to avoid postal errors. The name came from Lewis Morris's plantation, Tinton Manor (which employed free white workers and slaves) as it featured a gristmill, making it one of New Jersey's earliest bustling mill towns. The borough is home to the highest waterfall on New Jersey's coastal plain, from which the aforementioned mill generated power.

The Tinton Falls Solar Farm is a 20-megawatt solar photovoltaic power plant located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The farm contains 85,000 ground-mounted solar panels, and at the time of its construction, it was one of the largest solar farms in the northeast United States.The solar farm was developed by Rager Energy LLC and was acquired in 2011 as a fully approved project by Jiangsu Zongyi (a Chinese company) under a subsidiary named Zongyi Solar Energy (America). The purchase price of the raw land was reported to be $5.5 million US dollars (2012).The solar farm began operations in October 2012.

Neptune Township is a township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 28,061, an increase of 126 (+0.5%) from the 2010 census count of 27,935, which in turn reflected an increase of 245 (+0.9%) from the 27,690 counted in the 2000 census.Neptune was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 26, 1879, from portions of Ocean Township. Portions of the township were taken to form Neptune City (October 4, 1881), Bradley Beach (March 13, 1893) and Ocean Grove (April 5, 1920, until the action was found unconstitutional and restored to Neptune Township as of June 16, 1921). The township was named for Neptune, the Roman water deity, and its location on the Atlantic Ocean.

Glendola is an unincorporated community located within Wall Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is the location of the Glendola Reservoir. Most of the area consists of single-family residences along numerous streets throughout the settlement. The main east–west road through Glendola is Belmar Boulevard (County Route 18) while access to the nearby Route 18 freeway is provided via Brighton Avenue.

Hillel Yeshiva is a private Modern Orthodox Jewish day school located in Ocean Township, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It provides an integrated pre-school through twelfth grade program that facilitates the study of both Judaic and secular studies. As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 621 students (plus 98 in PreK) and 99.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.2:1. The school's student body was 100% White.The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 2011. Seaview Square Mall was a shopping mall located in Ocean Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It has been repurposed as a power center and was renamed Seaview Square Shopping Center in 2012. The 856,000-square-foot (79,500 m2) mall, located at the intersection of Route 35 and Route 66, was originally constructed in 1977 as an indoor mall. It faced stiff competition from the more upscale Monmouth Mall, located five miles (8 km) further north on Route 35 in Eatontown. One of its four anchors never opened, and several smaller stores, and Stern's and Steinbach, two of its anchors, were victims of the then-indoor mall's then-state of decline. The mall was later redeveloped into a shopping center with Target, Costco, Burlington, Home Sense, Siera Trading, Marshalls, Home Goods, Petsmart, Starbucks, and others.

Kane Brewing is a craft brewery in Ocean Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. It was started in 2011. It is New Jersey's third-largest craft brewery, after Flying Fish Brewery and River Horse Brewery.

Lincoln Township was a short-lived township that existed in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, from 1867 until 1868. The Township of Lincoln was formally incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 6, 1867, from the western portions of Ocean Township.By another act of the Legislature, effective on May 1, 1868, the township was reannexed to Ocean. Lincoln Township was dissolved after slightly over one year of existence.
