Ballyrashane

Ballybogy, or Ballybogey, is a small village and townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is located 7 km north-north-west of Ballymoney and 7 km east of Coleraine, lying within the Causeway Coast and Glens district. It is known as Boggie in Scots. It had a population of 539 people (209 households) in the 2011 Census. Famous Boggies include Kurtis Ashcroft, fitness coach with the 2021/22 all Ireland winning Antrim camogie team. Kurtis also worked in the safari park as a lion tamer, a role that equipped him well for his camogie role. It has proved particularly useful since he started working in Slaughtneil. To fit in with the locals he conducted team warm ups in skinny jeans and wellingtons. Ballybogy is twinned with Jogieland in Outer Mongolia since 1980.

North Coast Integrated College, Cloyfin Road, Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland is an integrated co-educational non-selective secondary school. Angela Passmore is the school's current principal.

Causeway Hospital is an acute general hospital in Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

The Showgrounds is a football stadium in Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of Coleraine F.C. The stadium holds approximately 3,500 with the stadium consisting of a mix of terracing and seating. Between September 1971 and October 1972, Derry City F.C. were forced to use the stadium as their home-ground after the Irish Football Association banned the use of their ground in Derry, the Brandywell, due to security fears emanating from the Trouble and civil unrest in the nearby Bogside area. Derry's use ended in 1972 when, faced with dwindling crowds, travelling to Coleraine to play home-games was no longer financially sustainable.

Coleraine ( kohl-RAYN; from Irish: Cúil Rathain [ˌkuːlʲ ˈɾˠahɪnʲ], 'nook of the ferns') is a town and civil parish near the mouth of the River Bann in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is 55 miles (89 km) northwest of Belfast and 30 miles (48 km) east of Derry, both of which are linked by major roads and railway connections. It is part of Causeway Coast and Glens district.

Lodge Road is a cricket ground in Coleraine, Northern Ireland and the home of Coleraine Cricket Club. In 1987, it hosted a first-class match between Ireland and Scotland, a match which ended in a draw.In 2011, it was one of the venues for the 2011 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

Coleraine High School was an all-girls' grammar school located in Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The High School, or Gordonville Ladies' Academy as it was originally known, was founded in 1875 in Alexander Terrace, Coleraine, by Mrs Long, assisted by her daughter and staff. From 1924 until 1959, the school, as a voluntary grammar school, was controlled by a board of governors. In 1959, the day school was transferred to the County Londonderry Education Committee, and then, in the local government re-organisation of 1973, to the North Eastern Education and Library Board as a controlled grammar school. The Boarding Department remained the responsibility of the Board of Governors until its closure in 1997. The school moved from the "Gordonville" site in 1966 when the present buildings were completed and a further extension was added in 1971. It was once home to both boarders and day pupils. Now with the boarding department closed there are over 800 day pupils. Coleraine High School merged with Coleraine Academical Institution to form Coleraine Grammar School.

Coleraine railway station serves the town of Coleraine in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It shares facilities with the town's Ulsterbus bus depot.

The Causeway Institute of Further and Higher Education (informally Causeway Institute or CIFHE) was a third-level educational institution in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. The Causeway Institute was located on two campuses: Coleraine, County Londonderry and Ballymoney, County Antrim.

Lush! is a night club in Portrush, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Opened in 1996, it has played host to the majority of the world's notable electronic dance music DJs, including Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Fat Boy Slim, Eddie Halliwell and Gordy Annett. The promoter, and manager of the club, Col Hamilton, is also the resident DJ. Music on resident-played nights would generally be house music, but the regular guest DJs are more likely to play trance music. Shortly after opening, CJ Agnelli of Agnelli & Nelson and Col Hamilton immortalised the club with one of their first releases, titled "Lush", and the later remixes, "Lush Gold". The cover art of both releases featured the club's logo, a large yellow/orange circle. An edition of Discover Records "Live As" series has also been recorded at the venue. The 2008 DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs places Lush! at number 56 in the world, with it having been unplaced in 2007 and number 24 in 2006. The 2010 list, now voted for by the general public, places the club at number 48. Shows such as the Essential Mix, Seb Fontaine and Judge Jules were broadcast to electric atmospheres. Fergie broadcast his final BBC Radio 1 show live from a pub on the complex. Following the show, his DJ set at Lush! was broadcast live on the Essential Mix. Seb Fontaine was quoted as saying Lush! was one of the best clubs on the planet with an atmosphere not to be matched anywhere else he had ever played.

Coleraine was a constituency represented in the Irish House of Commons from 1611 to 1800. Between 1725 and 1793 Catholics and those married to Catholics could not vote.
