St Peter at Gowts is a Grade I listed parish church in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.

The Lincoln Unitarian Chapel is an active Grade II listed Unitarian church in the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. It is one of the oldest active churches in the city being founded as early as 1662. The current building was built in 1725; before that the congregation met at John Disney's house.The building was a Presbyterian chapel from 1725 to 1792, a Calvinistic Methodist chapel from 1792 to 1803, a Nonconformist chapel from 1803 to 1837, and has been a Unitarian chapel since 1837.

St Mary's Guildhall is a major domestic complex, indicating the highest social status, built in the part of the medieval city of Lincoln, England, known as Wigford. The Guildhall faces directly onto Lincoln High Street and stands to the north of Sibthorp Street. To the south is the late Saxon church of St Peter at Gowts. Stocker describes it as "the only survivor from the small group of the king's town houses which existed in several major towns….St Mary's Guildhall is a domestic complex on a palatial scale, indicating the highest social status, and as such is representative of a little known urban building type".

John of Gaunt's Palace was a late 14th-century merchant's house which stood in the lower part of Lincoln High Street, opposite the St Mary Guildhall. It was progressively demolished from the late 18th century until the 1960s. The very fine oriel window from the building has been preserved in the gatehouse of Lincoln Castle.

Sincil Bank Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as LNER Stadium, is a football stadium in Lincoln, England which has been the home of Lincoln City since 1895. Previously, Lincoln City had played at the nearby John O'Gaunts ground since the club's 1884 inception. The stadium has an overall capacity of 10,669. It is overlooked by Lincoln Cathedral. Former Lincoln City chairman John Reames re-purchased the ground from the local council in 2000 at a cost of £175,000. The club had sold it in 1982 for £225,000 in order to fend off the threat of eviction, arranging a 125-year lease. On 28 November 2008, the stadium hosted England U16s' 2–0 win over Scotland U16s to win the Victory Shield, an annual football competition between the four Home Nations at the Under 16 level. Martin Peters paraded the FIFA World Cup Trophy at the ground in March 2010 as part of its global tour.On 10 December 2019, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) was confirmed as Lincoln City's new stadium sponsor. Sincil Bank – the Imps' home since 1895 – was renamed to the LNER Stadium in a 3-year partnership agreement. The stadium has previously been renamed in 2012 and 2013.

It now has a late 20th century shop front, but the timber-framed building survives with the southern front facing the narrow Akrill’s passage, on the east side of the High Street and just to the south of the railway crossing.

The historic High Street has evolved through many changes over its 2000 year history, encompassing Roman roads and settlement, medieval buildings, markets, places of worship, civic buildings, bridges, the arrival of the railways and heavy industry. The greatest concentration of listed buildings is north of the railway station in the pedestrianised area where most of the city's commercial, retail and cultural areas are located. South of the railway station there are fewer listed buildings the street is a busy urban road numbered the B1262.
