The Messenger is a statue by the English sculptor David Wynne, OBE of a horse and rider. It was installed in the town centre of Sutton in Greater London, England in 1981.

Sutton railway station (sometimes referred to as Sutton (Surrey) on tickets and timetables) is in the London Borough of Sutton in South London and is the main station serving the town of Sutton. It is served by Southern and Thameslink trains, and lies in Travelcard Zone 5, 14 miles 75 chains (14.94 miles, 24.04 km) down the line from London Bridge, measured via Forest Hill.

The Sutton Twin towns mural is a large mural in the form of seven individual paintings situated in Sutton High Street in the town of Sutton in Greater London, England. It is one of six works of public art in Sutton town centre.

The Sutton Underground Line was a proposed extension to the London Underground network in Sutton, South London that ultimately never materialised. Although Sutton does not have a direct Tube station today, historical plans indicate that, had certain factors played out differently, the area could have been connected to both the District line and the Northern line. The proposal was part of broader efforts in the early 20th century to expand London's Underground network and reduce the dominance of other railway companies.

The Cock sign is situated on the crossroads of Sutton High Street and Carshalton Road in the London Borough of Sutton. Built in 1907, it was originally a pub sign for The Cock hotel and pub, before being converted into a road sign and lamp post. Since 2018, The Cock sign has been a Grade II listed structure.

The Barclays Bank building is a four-storey locally listed building overlooking the historic crossroads in the town centre of Sutton in the south London Borough of Sutton. It was built in 1894, originally as the London and Provincial Bank.

Harris Academy Sutton is a coeducational secondary school located in Sutton in the London Borough of Sutton, England. It is part of the Harris Federation. It opened to pupils in September 2019. The academy building, that cost £40 million, was constructed as part of the proposed London Cancer Hub project; a global centre for innovation in cancer research and treatment. It is built to passivhaus standards.

Manor Park is a public park in the town of Sutton in Greater London. It was created in 1914 on a site in the town centre, opposite the police station. Its grounds include the Sutton War Memorial, which was added in 1921. It is bounded by Throwley Way to the west; Carshalton Road to the south; Manor Park Road to the east, and Greyhound Road to the north. Sutton High Street runs parallel to Throwley Way, fifty yards to the west.In 2010 its new café of straw-bale construction was London's first environmentally friendly building to use this building method.

The Millennium Dial Armillary is one of six pieces of public art located in the town centre of Sutton in Greater London, England. The others include the Sutton heritage mosaic, the Sutton twin towns mural and the Messenger statue. The armillary was dedicated to the town in 2000 by the Rotary Club, and is in the form of a historical timepiece. It serves three purposes: firstly, simply to tell the time; secondly, to commemorate time through various inscriptions including the Rotary motto "Service Above Self" and distances to nearby areas such as Kingston upon Thames; and thirdly, to commemorate the work which the Rotary Club has done.

The Sutton Heritage Mosaic is a large mural in the form of a mosaic situated in Sutton High Street in the town of Sutton in Greater London, England. One of the largest examples of wall art in Britain, it was commissioned by the London Borough of Sutton to celebrate the borough's heritage.

Overton Grange School is a mixed academy school in Sutton, Greater London, England. The school opened in 1997 with its first intake. Planning for a new school in the area was identified in the 1980s. The capacity is approximately 1300 students. It has a sixth form college, opened in 2002. It has a hearing support department and a greater number of students with disabilities because of the purpose-built facilities. The school became an academy on 1 June 2011. Students are divided into two bands - Overton and Grange - dividing between Grange learning Spanish language and Overton learning French language. Overton Grange School, or 'Overton' as it is more commonly known as, has four house groups: Amber, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. Each form, or tutor group, has between 25-30 students, all in one house and all in one band. The latest OFSTED report, following its January 2016 inspection, grades the school as "Good" in all categories. The report notes that "a culture exists whereby everyone ‘takes ownership of pupils’. Consequently, leaders have addressed well the areas for improvement since the last inspection". It has also been Inspected again in March 2019. Again it was graded "Good". The School provides 7 Years of Education for all students. Year 12 and 13 are the Sixth form. In order for a student to move into the sixth form, they require sufficient GCSE results from the Year 11 Exams at the end of the year. If they have not achieved these grades, then it will require them to search for another Sixth form for further education.
