Lebanon College was a two-year private not-for-profit college located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. It was founded in 1956, and closed in 2014, due to financial difficulties. In 2015 Lebanon College facilities and certain programs were purchased by the public community college system of New Hampshire. After renovations to the main academic building, the Lebanon campus of River Valley Community College opened in January 2016. Lebanon College had been approved by the New Hampshire Post-secondary Commission to offer the associate degree, and was certified by the State of Vermont Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary, to offer programs and courses in that state. The college was accredited by the American Council of Independent Schools and Colleges (ACICS). The Radiography Program at Lebanon College was accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education In Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

Lebanon locally is the only city in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 14,282 at the 2020 census, up from 13,151 at the 2010 census. Lebanon is in western New Hampshire, south of Hanover, near the Connecticut River. It is the home to Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine, together comprising the largest medical facility between Boston, Massachusetts, and Burlington, Vermont. Together with Hanover, New Hampshire, and White River Junction, Vermont, Lebanon is at the center of a Micropolitan Statistical Area, encompassing nearly 30 towns along the upper Connecticut River valley.

Lebanon High School is the sole high school in the Lebanon School District (SAU 88) in New Hampshire. Ranging from grades 9–12, students are from the city of Lebanon and the towns of Grantham, Plainfield and Cornish.The mascot for the LHS Raiders is commonly called the "Raider Bird."

Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD) is a 24-bed critical access hospital located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States. While it started in 1932 as a small cottage hospital, it has since become a larger community hospital that provides standard hospital services such as primary care, women's care, independent living, and assisted living, and more specialized services such as orthopaedics, rehabilitative care, and neurosurgery. It serves roughly 20 communities in Vermont and New Hampshire, and is affiliated with Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center, which is also located in Lebanon. In 2013, the hospital's president and CEO, Harry G. Dorman, retired after having served for 11 years, during which he brought many changes to the hospital. Upon his retirement, he transferred his positions to the then-current vice president and chief medical officer, Dr. Susan E. Mooney.APD employs approximately 500 individuals throughout the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire.

WUVR (1490 AM) is a radio station licensed to Lebanon, New Hampshire and serves the Lebanon-Hanover-White River Junction area. It broadcasts a news/talk format and is owned by Robert and John Landry, through licensee Sugar River Media, LLC.

Spring Hill Farm is a historic farm at 263 Meriden Road in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Founded in the late 18th century, the farm is noted for innovations in dairy farming practices introduced in the 1920s by Maurice Downs. It is also one of a small number of surviving farm properties in the town, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), the flagship campus of the Dartmouth Health system, is the U.S. state of New Hampshire's only academic medical center. DHMC is a 486-inpatient bed hospital and serves as a major tertiary-care referral site for patients throughout northern New England. As an academic medical center, DHMC offers primary, specialty and subspecialty care as well as education and research in partnership with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, one of America's oldest medical schools, as well as the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice. It is headquartered in Lebanon, New Hampshire on a 225-acre (91 ha) campus in the heart of the Upper Connecticut River Valley and employs more than 8,000 employees. DHMC is New Hampshire's only Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in northern New England, and it includes New Hampshire's only air ambulance service. DHMC is one of 20 members of the New England Alliance for Health, a regional network of hospitals and other health care organizations in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.

WGXL (92.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to Hanover, New Hampshire, serving the Lebanon-Claremont area. The station is owned by Great Eastern Radio, LLC. It airs a contemporary hit radio (Top 40/CHR) format.

WXXK (100.5 FM; "Kixx 100.5") is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States, the station serves the Lebanon-Rutland-White River Junction area. The station is owned by Great Eastern Radio, LLC and features programming from Westwood One and the Premiere Radio Networks.

WFRD (99.3 MHz "99 Rock") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Hanover, New Hampshire, and owned and operated by Sugar River Media. The station's studios are located in Randolph, Vermont. WFRD airs a mainstream rock radio format with some alternative rock and classic rock tracks. Previously, it was owned and operated by Dartmouth Broadcasting from a studio on the Dartmouth College campus. In addition to a standard analog transmission, WFRD is available online.

WXLF (95.3 FM, "95.3 and 107.1 The Wolf") is a radio station licensed to serve Hartford, Vermont. The station is owned by Binnie Media. It airs a country music format. The station is simulcast on WZLF (107.1 FM) in Bellows Falls, Vermont. The station has been assigned these call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since March 1, 2005.

The Great Hollow Road Stone Arch Bridge (also known as the Etna Stone Bridge) is a historic stone arch bridge carrying Great Hollow Road over Mink Brook in Hanover, New Hampshire. Built by the town in 1914, it is one of two stone bridges in the town, and a finely crafted and little-altered example of stone masonry of the period. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
