Bello station

Niquía is the first station on the Medellín Metro from north to south on line A. It is located in Bello, the second most populous city in the metropolitan area, after Medellín. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado. The station also came to be an urban center in the middle of a region traditionally consisting of working and peasant families who saw the need to move to the central area of Medellín for any type of work. The station is now a true urban center with almost all necessary things for shopping and meetings. From there you can also access other districts of the city of Bello easily.

Bello (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈbeʎo], [ˈbeʝo]) is a town and municipality in Antioquia Department, Colombia and is a suburb of Medellín, the department capital. Bello is part of The Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley in the department of Antioquia. It is bordered on the north by the municipality of San Pedro de los Milagros, on the east by the municipality of Copacabana, on the south by the municipality of Medellín and on the west by the municipalities of Medellín and San Jerónimo. It is the center of the development in the north of the Aburrá Valley (Spanish: Valle de Aburrá), and as a member of the Metropolitan Area of Aburrá Valley, or AMVA (Spanish: Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá), some public services are regulated for the Metropolitan Area. There are several nicknames for the municipality: Imperio del Cacique Niquia (Cacique Niquia's Empire), Cuna de Marco Fidel Suárez ("Marco Fidel Suárez's cradle"), "Ciudad de los artistas" ("Artist's city").

Madera is the third station of the Medellín Metro from north to south on line A. It is located in the northernmost part of the municipality of Medellín, close to the natural boundary with Bello and is an access point to the southern suburbs of Bello. The station is named for the creek that forms a natural boundary between the cities of Medellín and Bello: La Madera Creek. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.

Acevedo is the fourth station of the Medellín Metro from north to south on line A and the first station on line K and P. It is located in the northernmost part of the municipality of Medellín, close to the natural boundary with Bello. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.The transfer station is line K leading to the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood (northeast of the city) by the Metro Cable.

Andalucía is the second station on line K of the Metrocable. It is located in the northeast corner of Medellín, in a community known as Santa Cruz.

Popular is the third station on line K of the Metrocable. It is located in the northeast corner of Medellín, in a community known as Popular.

Spain Library Park (Parque Biblioteca España) is a library park located in the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood of Medellín, Colombia. It is named after the country of Spain, whose government helped fund the project through the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation.The library is noted for its architecture. Its three buildings are meant to resemble black stones that are illuminated at night. In 2008, the library park won an award for best architecture of the year in the Ibero-American Architecture and Urban Design Biennial (IAUB) in Lisbon. The library was designed by Giancarlo Mazzanti, a Colombian architect who had previously designed another library park in the La Ladera neighborhood of Medellín. Situated on a hillside above Medellin, the library can be reached by the Medellín Metrocable at the Santo Domingo stop on Line K.

Santo Domingo Savio is the fourth and last station on line K of the Metrocable, and the first station on line L. It is located in the northeast of Medellín. The station is named after Dominic Savio.

Tricentenario is the fifth station of the Medellín Metro on Line A going north-south. It is located in the northern part of the municipality of Medellín, the second station in the territory of the municipality with the largest number of stations within the metropolitan area today. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.It lies between two major traditional working class areas of the city of Medellín: the Castilla and Aranjuez municipalities. With the town of Bello, said municipalities evolved through the history of development of the metropolitan area as the main areas of labor during industrialization.

With the town of Bello, said municipalities evolved through the history of development of the metropolitan area as the main areas of labor within the process of industrialization. As strategic urban and regional development, and a high number of population areas, the Medellín Metro is an important element of this part of the city.
