Tricentenario station

Acevedo is the fourth station of the Medellín Metro from north to south on line A and the first station on line K and P. It is located in the northernmost part of the municipality of Medellín, close to the natural boundary with Bello. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.The transfer station is line K leading to the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood (northeast of the city) by the Metro Cable.

Caribe is the sixth station of the Medellín Metro from north to south, serving line A, and is located in the northern part of the municipality of Medellín. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.It lies between two major traditional working class areas of the city of Medellín: the Castilla and Aranjuez municipalities. With the town of Bello, said municipalities evolved through the history of development of the metropolitan area as the main areas of labor within the process of industrialization. As strategic urban and regional development, and a high number of population areas, the Medellín Metro is an important element of this part of the city.

Andalucía is the second station on line K of the Metrocable. It is located in the northeast corner of Medellín, in a community known as Santa Cruz.

Popular is the third station on line K of the Metrocable. It is located in the northeast corner of Medellín, in a community known as Popular.

The Joaquin Antonio Uribe Botanical Garden of Medellín (Spanish: Joaquin Antonio Uribe Jardín Botánico de Medellín), more simply known as the Botanical Garden of Medellín, is a 14-hectare botanical garden in Medellín, Colombia. The botanical garden has 4,500 flowers and 139 recorded bird species. It has an important collection of orchids preserved in an architectural space called the "Orchideorama".

Parque Explora is an interactive science museum in Medellín, Colombia, loosely modeled after San Francisco's Exploratorium. It houses South America's largest freshwater aquarium, Explora Aquarium. The museum contains over 300 interactive attractions, as well as a 3D auditorium, planetarium, television studio, and vivarium. The museum opened in 2008.

Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital is private, non-profit hospital located in the Cordoba neighborhood and Robledo municipality of Medellín, Colombia. It is one of the most important health institutions Colombia. It is a Catholic Hospital, and is governed by the principles and teachings of the Catholic Church. It is named after Pablo Tobón Uribe, a Colombian businessman and philanthropist.Pablo Tobon Uribe Hospital is also a university hospital in character. Students receive training in medicine, nursing, nutrition, psychology, microbiology and administrative agreement with different universities in the city and country areas.

Universidad is the seventh station on line A of the Medellín Metro. It is located in the eastern part of Medellín. The station is located in an area of great academic, cultural and scientific importance and a site of great confluence of routes to different parts of the city because its proximity to the University of Antioquia and metropolitan areas such the Botanical Garden of Medellín and Barefoot Park. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.

The Tecnológico de Antioquia (TdeA) (English: Antioquia Institute of Technology), also called Tecnológico de Antioquia – University Institute, is an academic institution of higher education in Colombia in the department of Antioquia, provides technical education services, technology and professional. Its headquarters are located in Robledo, in the city of Medellín.

The Jesús Emilio Ramírez González Planetarium of Medellín (Spanish: Planetario Medellín de Jesús Emilio Ramírez González) is a planetarium located in Medellín, Colombia and established on October 10, 1984. It was originally conceived by the Astronomical Society of the College of San José, led at that time by Brother Daniel (Julián González Patiño), a renowned scientist, astronomer, and botanist. The purpose is that the planetarium is a space for the promotion of scientific and technological culture of citizens and mentality that encourages scientific and technological creativity. The museum is surrounded by a public space known as the Park of Wishes, which was designed by Felipe Uribe de Bedout to coordinate with the planetarium.Medellín was the first South American city to have a computer-controlled planetarium.

Santo Domingo Savio is the fourth and last station on line K of the Metrocable, and the first station on line L. It is located in the northeast of Medellín. The station is named after Dominic Savio.

The University of Antioquia (Spanish: Universidad de Antioquia), also called UdeA, is a public, departmental, coeducational, research university located primarily in the city of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia, with regional campuses in Amalfi, Andes, Caucasia, Carmen de Viboral, Envigado, Puerto Berrío, Santa Fe de Antioquia, Segovia, Sonsón, Turbo and Yarumal. It is the oldest departmental university in Colombia, founded in 1803 by a Royal Decree issued by King Charles IV of Spain under the name Franciscan College (Spanish: Colegio de Franciscanos). It is considered one of Colombia's best universities, receiving a high quality accreditation from the Ministry of Education for 9 years. Along with the University of the Andes, the two universities hold the second longest term, behind the National University of Colombia. UdeA and the Tecnológico de Antioquia have the largest number of seats in the department of Antioquia. It is also renowned for its prestigious Faculty of Medicine, which is acknowledged as one of the best medical schools in Colombia.The university is a member of the Association of Colombian Universities (ASCUN), the Iberoamerican Association of Postgraduate Universities (AUIP), and the network Universia.
