The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law is a public law school in Concord, New Hampshire, associated with the University of New Hampshire. It is the only law school in the state and was founded in 1973 by Robert H. Rines as the Franklin Pierce Law Center, named after the 14th President of the United States and New Hampshire native. (Pierce was the only U.S. president from the state of New Hampshire.) The school is particularly well known for its Intellectual Property Law program.

The Farrington House is a historic house at 30 South Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Built in 1844 as a duplex, it is a distinctive local example of high-style Greek Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Concord High School is a public high school in Concord, New Hampshire, in the United States.

Kimball School was a public elementary school located in Concord, New Hampshire. It was torn down during the 2011–2012 school year and replaced by the Christa McAuliffe School, a new building located on the site of the old school. Kimball was one of five elementary schools operating in SAU-8 (the Concord School District). The last principal was Susan Noyes, who had been at Kimball since the 2008 school year. Chris Demers was the assistant principal. Serving the west side of Concord, the building had been in existence for over one hundred years. It was previously a high school and a junior high school in Concord.

2+1⁄2 Beacon Street, also known as the former New Hampshire State Prison Warehouse, is a historic commercial building at 2+1⁄2 Beacon Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Built in 1860 and enlarged in 1868, it is the only major surviving element of New Hampshire's first state prison complex, which was mostly torn down in the 1890s. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Reuben Foster House and Perley Cleaves House are a pair of nearly identical Greek Revival houses at 64 and 62 North State Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Built 1848–1850, they are among New Hampshire's best examples of Greek Revival architecture, having undergone only relatively modest alterations. The houses were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The Cleaves House is further notable for its association with Mary Baker Eddy, and now serves as a historic house museum.

The New Hampshire State Hospital was originally constructed in 1842 in Concord, New Hampshire, as the seventeenth such mental institution in the country to cater to the state's mentally ill population.

The Legislative Office Building of the New Hampshire State Legislature is a government office building across North State Street from the New Hampshire State House in Concord, New Hampshire. Built in 1889, it is one of the state's largest buildings built out of locally quarried granite. It was originally used as a post office and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Old Post Office. It was also included in the Concord Civic District in 1983.

Old North Cemetery is a historic cemetery on North State Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Established in 1730, it is the city's oldest cemetery. Franklin Pierce, fourteenth president of the United States, is buried in the cemetery, as are his wife Jane and two of his three sons. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 9, 2008. The cemetery continues to accept new burials.

The Concord Civic District consists of a collection of local and state civic buildings centered on the New Hampshire State House in Concord, New Hampshire. In addition to the State House, the district includes the Legislative Office Building, New Hampshire State Library, Concord City Hall, Concord Community Center, New Hampshire Historical Society, State House Annex, and the Concord Public Library. It also includes statuary and memorial objects placed on the grounds of the State House. The buildings, although architecturally different, are predominantly made out of locally quarried granite, and their grounds are landscaped in similar ways. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Upham-Walker House is a historic house located at 18 Park Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Built in 1831, it is the only remaining Federal-style house in central Concord. It is now owned by the state and used for special functions. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 15, 1980.

As of May 2, 2022, the United States attorney is Jane E. Young.
