The Ohio State University College of Engineering, including the Knowlton School is the academic unit that manages engineering research and education at Ohio State University. The college can trace its origins to 1870 when the Ohio General Assembly chartered the Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College. In 1878, the institution's name changed to The Ohio State University. Ohio State's graduate and undergraduate engineering programs are both ranked No. 1 among all Ohio universities and 15th and 16th, respectively, in the nation among public universities according to U.S. News & World Report. In 2022, The College of Engineering ranked 10th in the country for earned doctorates, and 24th in the country for Research Expenditures according to the National Science Foundation. Ohio State also ranks 6th in the nation among public universities in private support, which was nearly $576 million for fiscal year 2021, when College of Engineering and Knowlton School private support exceeded $138 million.

The Blackwell Inn is an upscale full-service hotel located on-campus at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It is located adjacent to The Max M. Fisher College of Business. The Blackwell Inn is named after Roger Blackwell, a marketing professor who pledged $7 million to the university in 2001. Ohio State operates the hotel, and it is the only hotel located on campus. Dining includes Bistro 2110 on the ground floor and The Blackwell Lounge.

The Tom W. Davis Tower is a clock tower at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It is located near the North Recreation Center and features a 20x40 foot light-emitting diode display and a large clock. It was completed in autumn of 2017. The tower displays inscribed quotes from William McKinley, John F. Kennedy, and Roberto Clemente at its base.

A series of ongoing protests at the Ohio State University by pro-Palestinian demonstrators have occurred on-campus in response to the Israel-Palestine conflict beginning on October 7, 2023. A solidarity encampment was constructed on OSU's South Oval on April 25, 2024, during which there were 36 arrests. At least 41 total Ohio residents and student protesters have been arrested across multiple non-violent protests, making for the highest number of Columbus protest-related arrests in one day since the 1969–1970 Vietnam War protests. The protester demands of OSU include "financial divestment, academic boycott, financial disclosure, acknowledging the genocide, and ending targeted policing." Pro-Palestine groups have been critical of the university's response to the protests, including the university's deployment of snipers who aimed long-ranged rifles at students during the April 25 encampment, suspension of pro-Palestinian student organizations, and suppression of the Undergraduate Student Government's attempts at passing legislation for financial divestment from Israel after receiving pressure from officials in Zionist organization Hillel International. The university has insisted their actions are politically neutral, with President Walter E. Carter Jr. stating the "university's long-standing space rules are content neutral and are enforced uniformly."

Remembrance Park is a park on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The public memorial commemorates veteran alumni. The park was officially dedicated in 2011.

University, Hayes and Orton Halls are three historic buildings on the Oval at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. On July 16, 1970, they were added to the National Register of Historic Places. The original University Hall was demolished in 1971, and removed from the National Register that year.

The Ohio State University Ice Rink is a 1,000-seat hockey rink located at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The rink was built in 1961 and houses the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team. The men's hockey team occupied the facility from 1963 until 1998, when the Value City Arena was completed. A 1999 renovation brought the rink to full NHL dimensions and improved the facilities. The rink is located adjacent to the east side of St. John Arena on Woody Hayes Drive, just north of Ohio Stadium. In 2007, the men's Buckeye hockey team played three preliminary-round CCHA tournament games at the Ice Rink due to scheduling conflicts with the OHSAA Wrestling Tournament at Value City Arena. These games marked the men's ice hockey team's first game in the Ice Rink since 1999.

The 18th Avenue Library (formerly the Science and Engineering Library) is a library on the Ohio State University campus, in Columbus, Ohio, United States.

St. John Arena is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The arena was named for Lynn St. John, who served as Ohio State's men's basketball coach and athletic director until 1947. It was designed by Howard Dwight Smith, architect of Ohio Stadium. It opened in 1956 to serve as the home of multiple Buckeye athletic teams, primarily the men's basketball team. Prior to its construction, the men's basketball team played off-campus in the Fairgrounds Coliseum at the state fairgrounds. St. John Arena served as home of the men's and women's basketball teams until it was replaced by Value City Arena in 1998, while the remaining tenants moved to the Covelli Center in 2019. It is still occasionally used by the men's and women's basketball teams for games and is used before every OSU football home game for The Ohio State University Marching Band's Skull Session.

Watts Hall was a building on the Ohio State University campus, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The building was named after Arthur S. Watts, a former head of the Department of Ceramic Engineering, and former president of the American Ceramic Society. It housed the OSU Department of Materials Science and Engineering before being demolished in 2022 to make way for the second phase of the BMEC project.

University Hall is the main academic building at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The building houses classrooms for several of the university's colleges and includes a museum on the ground floor. The present-day University Hall is the second of its name on the site; the original was built in 1873 as the first permanent building for Ohio State, and the first instructional and administrative building. The original structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and demolished in 1971. In 1976, it was replaced by a modern academic building that replicates the original's architecture.
