King Street, Hammersmith is the main shopping street in Hammersmith, London. It runs west–east, and forms part of the A315, and is the eastern continuation of Chiswick High Road, where it meets Goldhawk Road (the A402), close to Stamford Brook tube station. At the eastern end it meets Hammersmith Broadway and continues east as Hammersmith Road where it forms a crossroads with the A219, the Shepherd's Bush Road running northwards, and the Fulham Palace Road running south. The street is two-way along its western part, and one-way westbound along its eastern part. Eastbound traffic uses Studland Street, Glenthorne Road and Beadon Road.

The Hammersmith flyover is an elevated roadway in West London which carries the A4 arterial road over and to one side of the central Hammersmith gyratory system, and it links together the Cromwell Road extension (Talgarth Road) with the start of the Great West Road. It is one of the first examples of an elevated road using reinforced concrete.

Hammersmith (Grove Road) was a railway station on the London and South Western Railway (LSWR), located on Grove Road (now Hammersmith Grove) in Hammersmith, west London. It was opened in 1869 and closed in 1916. For much of its existence, the station was also served by the Metropolitan Railway (MR; the precursor to today's Metropolitan line) and the Great Western Railway (GWR). Its site was adjacent to another station named Hammersmith, which today is served by the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. LSWR trains serving Hammersmith (Grove Road) ran from Waterloo via Addison Road (now called Kensington (Olympia)) to Richmond. MR and GWR trains ran from Paddington via the Hammersmith & City Railway (HCR; now the Hammersmith & City line) and also on to Richmond.

The Swan is a Grade II listed public house at 46 Hammersmith Broadway, Hammersmith, London.It was built in 1901, by the architect Frederick Miller, and is in the Free Jacobean style.

St Paul's is a Grade II* listed Anglican church at Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, London W6, adjacent to Hammersmith flyover, and only a short walk from Hammersmith tube station.

The Godolphin and Latymer School is an independent day school for girls in Hammersmith, West London. The school motto is an ancient Cornish phrase, Francha Leale Toge, which translates as "free and loyal art thou". The school crest includes a double-headed white eagle, Godolphin in Cornish signifies a white eagle.The Good Schools Guide called the school a "Very strong academic school with a friendly atmosphere, an outstanding head and a broad range of extra-curricular activities."

Klub Foot was a London nightclub in the Psychobilly scene of the early and mid-1980s. It started in the heyday of the psychobilly scene in 1982.It was hosted at the Ballroom of the Clarendon Hotel in Hammersmith until the venue was demolished as part of the redevelopment of Hammersmith Town Centre. It regularly showcased the rising stars of the scene, including The Meteors, Demented Are Go, Guana Batz, Batmobile, The Sting-rays, The Caravans, Klingonz, The Highliners, Sgt Bilko's Krazy Combo and many others. On all the Klub Foot posters the address stated was "Clarendon Hotel Ballroom, Hammersmith Broadway W6". The Clarendon itself was a very large 1930s Hotel with attached function rooms built in the Art Deco style, and it stood on the corner of the Hammersmith one way system until its demolition in 1988. The Klub Foot was held in the main ballroom on the first floor, which held around 900 people. As well as hosting concerts, the Klub Foot promoter released a series of live recordings, titled Stomping At The Klubfoot on ABC records. Six volumes were released on vinyl and CD.After the Clarendon closed, attempts were made to relocate the club at various locations including the Boston Arms in Tufnell Park, and the Town & Country Club in Kentish Town, but the dying Psychobilly scene in the UK in the 1990s made it difficult to attract crowds. Since 1999, subsequent Klub Foot Reunion concerts at the Relentless Garage in Highbury have been more successful and it is now a yearly event featuring original 1980s bands with newer support acts.

Hammersmith is a London Underground station in Hammersmith. It is the western terminus of the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. The station is in Travelcard Zone 2 and is a short walk from the station of the same name on the Piccadilly and District lines. The two stations are separated by Hammersmith Broadway. They are about 60 m (200 ft) apart door to door, although the positions of the pedestrian crossings on the Broadway makes it seem much longer on foot. The Circle line has served Hammersmith since 13 December 2009. By June 2011 all of the platforms had been lengthened to accommodate the new and longer S7 Stock trains, that first entered service on the Hammersmith and City Line from the beginning of July 2012. These new trains are seven cars in length instead of the six cars of C Stock that previously operated.
