Coney Island (Massachusetts)

The Salem Channel is a channel in the Salem Sound that stretches from Winter Island in the city of Salem to Misery Shoal in the city limits of Beverly.

Crowninshield Island, also known as Brown's Island, is a small island off the shore of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Since 1955, it has been maintained by The Trustees of Reservations. For all Trustees of Reservations purposes, the island is referred to as Crowninshield Island, however federally the island is still maintained as "Brown's Island", and it remains better known by that name locally.

Old Burial Hill is a historic cemetery in Marblehead, Massachusetts. It is located on the high ground between Marblehead's colonial-era residential and retail district, called "Downtown" by longtime residents and "Old Town" by others, and the Barnegat neighborhood that stretches from Little Harbor to Doliber's Cove, and is accessible via a walkway at Redd's Pond and a stairway at the intersection of Orne and Pond streets. It was the location of Marblehead's First Meeting House built around 1638. Old Burial Hill features scenic vistas of Marblehead Harbor and Salem Sound. The burying ground was founded in 1638 and contains many historic Puritan gravestones featuring diverse stone carving artwork from the seventeenth century. The burial ground also contains the remains of a victim of the 1692 Salem Witch Trials. It is referenced briefly in the horror author H.P Lovecraft's short-story, The Festival. It was the setting of the daytime cemetery scenes in Disney's 1993 Halloween comedy-drama film Hocus Pocus. The nighttime cemetery scenes, including Billy Butcherson's resurrection, were filmed on a sound stage at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. Fort Sewall is a historic coastal fortification in Marblehead, Massachusetts. It is located at Gale's Head, the northeastern point of the main Marblehead peninsula, on a promontory that overlooks the entrance to Marblehead Harbor. Until 1814 it was called Gale's Head Fort.

Redd's Pond is a pond located in Marblehead, Massachusetts. It was named after Wilmot Redd.

The Old Meeting House was constructed in Marblehead, Massachusetts in 1696 on Franklin Street. It was the second meeting house to be constructed for what would become the congregationalist church. Portions of the meeting house pews are the largest group of joined interior paneling to survive from any seventeenth century New England Building, which still survive to this day in museums and private homes.

Endicott College is a private college in Beverly, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1939 as a two-year women's college. It began offering four-year degrees in 1988 and became coeducational in 1994. Endicott enrolled approximately 4,300 students as of the fall 2020 semester. It offers associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as graduate-level certificates, with a curriculum emphasizing an applied learning component with required internships. The college has a 235-acre (95 ha) seaside campus. Its athletics teams compete as the Gulls in the Commonwealth Coast Conference in Division III.

Marblehead Light is situated on Marblehead Neck in Essex County, Massachusetts. The current tower is a skeletal structure that replaced the original 1835 brick and wood tower in 1895. It is the only tower of its type in New England, the next similar tower is to be found at Coney Island, New York. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places, on June 15, 1987 as number #87001479 under Lighthouses of Massachusetts Thematic Group.The United States Coast Guard Light List description is "Square skeleton tower; brown to gallery; black above". The actual light is 130 feet (40 m) above Mean High Water. Its fixed green light is visible for 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8.1 mi).

Old North Church is a church built in 1824, in Marblehead, Massachusetts for the First Congregational Church. It is built in the Colonial Georgian style.Their current designated term associate pastor is Rev. Lindsay Popperson.

The Elbridge Gerry House is a historic house at 44 Washington Street in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Local lore holds that this house is a c. 1730 house that was the home of merchant Thomas Gerry, and the place where statesman and Founding Father Elbridge Gerry was born in 1744. Stylistic analysis of the house, however, suggests that it is instead a late Georgian or early Federalist construction dating to c. 1790.The house listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and included in the Marblehead Historic District in 1984.
