The Gibbs-Thomas House, at 137 NW Temple St. in Salt Lake City, Utah, was built in 1896. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It was designed by architect Richard K. A. Kletting in Queen Anne style. It was inherited by Elbert D. Thomas, a U.S. Senator for Utah from 1932 to 1950, and was his only residence in Utah.

The Conference Center, in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the premier meeting hall for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Completed in 2000, the 21,000-seat Conference Center replaced the traditional use of the nearby Salt Lake Tabernacle, built in 1868, for the church's biannual general conference and other major gatherings, devotionals, and events. It is believed to be the largest theater-style auditorium ever built.

The Endowment House was an early building used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) to administer temple ordinances in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory. From the construction of the Council House in 1852, Salt Lake City's first public building, until the construction of the Endowment House, the members of the LDS Church used the top floor of the Council House for administering temple ordinances. When this arrangement proved impractical, Brigham Young directed Truman O. Angell, architect of the Salt Lake Temple, to design a temporary temple. Completed in 1855, the building was dedicated by Heber C. Kimball and came to be called the Endowment House after the endowment ceremonies that were conducted inside it.

The Richard Vaughen Morris House is a historic house located at 314 Quince Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, was built in the 1860s, definitely by 1866. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It is important as an early vernacular, adobe home updated with Federal/Georgian stylings later. It was home of Richard Vaughen Morris, a businessman and government official.

The Salt Lake Tabernacle, also known as the Mormon Tabernacle, is located on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, in the U.S. state of Utah. The Tabernacle was built from 1863 to 1875 to house meetings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), and was the location of the church's semi-annual general conference until the meeting was moved to the new and larger LDS Conference Center in 2000. Now a historic building on Temple Square, the Salt Lake Tabernacle is still used for overflow crowds during general conference. It is renowned for its remarkable acoustics. Tabernacle Choir has performed there for over 100 years.

The Nauvoo Bell is a bell tower in Salt Lake City's Temple Square, in the U.S. state of Utah.The tower displays multiple sculptures, including 1942 works by Avard Fairbanks. Benevolence depicts women and children and measures approximately 4 feet tall by 3 feet wide. Pioneering has the same dimensions and depicts a family with one man, one women, and two children. Both works, collectively known as the Bell Tower Plaques, were surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.

Temple Square is a 10-acre (4.0 ha) complex, owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), in the center of Salt Lake City, Utah. The usage of the name has gradually changed to include several other church facilities that are immediately adjacent to Temple Square. Contained within Temple Square are the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake Tabernacle, Salt Lake Assembly Hall, the Seagull Monument, and two visitors' centers. The square was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1964, recognizing the Mormon achievement in the settlement of Utah.

Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City is surrounded by urban gardens and parks which cover approximately 14 hectares (35 acres) within Temple Square, the Conference Center, and the area surrounding headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The garden on the rooftop of the Conference Center, by design, has no annual plants; it is mostly herbaceous perennials and woody plants.The gardens at Temple Square include 250 flower beds, over 165,000 bedding plants, and over 700 varieties of plants from all over the world. The gardens are redesigned every six months and replanted mostly by volunteers and seven full-time supervising gardeners. The Salt Lake Temple used to have an attached greenhouse. Currently, the LDS Church operates four greenhouses away from Temple Square that grow all of the flowers and plants that are needed at the gardens. Most greenhouses have trial spaces to try the designs before implementing them on Temple Square. There is free general public access to all gardens on Temple Square. Guided tours are available to some of the gardens, including those on the roof of the Conference Center. The gardening staff and volunteers string more than three hundred thousand Christmas lights along branches of trees and shrubs and around flower beds.

Ensign Peak Advisors (EP) ( EN-syne) is the investment manager for assets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).In 1997, the investment division of the LDS Church was spun off into a separate legal entity named after Ensign Peak, a hill that overlooks Salt Lake City. As of February 2020, Roger Clarke is EP's Chief Executive Officer. Gérald Caussé is the church's Presiding Bishop who oversees church finances, including EP.

The Ebenezer Beesley House in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a 2-story adobe brick and stucco Vernacular house constructed in the 19th century. The house is one of only a few I-form adobe structures remaining in the city, and it includes minimal ornamentation. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.Ebenezer Beesley (14 December 1840 – 21 March 1906) was a pioneer who immigrated to Utah from England in 1859, joining George Rowley's Morman handcart company at Florence, Nebraska, in June of that year and arriving at Salt Lake City in September. A gifted composer and musician, Beesley conducted the Mormon Tabernacle Choir 1880–1890, and he founded Beesley Music Company in 1903. At the time of his death in 1906, Beesley was survived by 11 of his 16 children, 40 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

The Salt Lake Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. At 253,015 square feet (23,505.9 m2), it is the largest Latter-day Saint temple by floor area. Dedicated in 1893, it is the sixth temple completed by the church, requiring 40 years to complete, and the fourth temple built since the Mormon exodus from Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1846. The temple was closed in December 2019 for a general remodelling and seismic renovations that are anticipated to take approximately four years.
