Batim is a village situated in the Tiswadi taluka of North Goa district. The village received widespread publicity in 1993 due to an alleged apparition of the Virgin Mary. The parish church of Batim is dedicated to Guadalup Saibinn i.e. Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe.

The Society of the Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar (Latin: Societas Missionariorum Sancti Francisci Xaverii), abbreviated SFX and commonly referred to as the Society of Pilar or the Pilar Fathers is a Roman Catholic society of apostolic life of Pontifical Right for men (priests and brothers). Its members add the nominal letters S.F.X. after their names to indicate their membership in the Congregation.

Pilar is a village in Goa, India, some 10 km from the state capital Panaji. It is on a hill top and has a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and the mountains all around.

The Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Bambolim, Goa, India is a psychiatric hospital and part of the Goa Medical College (GMC). It is approximately a kilometer away from GMC opposite Bambolim Church, a landmark.

Agaçaim (pronounced Aagshi) or Agassaim, is a village on the northern banks of the Zuari River in Tiswadi, Goa, surrounded by Panjim to the north, Margão to the south, Vasco da Gama to the west and Ponda to the east, thus making it a main connection between North Goa and South Goa via the Zuari Bridge. Agaçaim is famous for its Goan chouriço.

Siridao, or Siridão, is a neighborhood located at the southern end of the city of Panaji, capital of the Indian state of Goa. It is completely located on the island of Tiswadi, one of the talukas in the state of Goa. At the entrance of the neighborhood, one can see three stone carved statues playing musical instruments with a dog. Here is preserved the testimony of a huge man like creature who once inhabited the place and who was locally nicknamed 'Paulist'.

Bambolim is a neighborhood located in the southeastern part of the city of Panaji, the capital of the Indian state of Goa. It is completely located on the island of Tiswadi, one of the talukas in the state of Goa. The only allopathic medical college in the state of Goa, Goa Medical College, is located here.

Grand Hyatt Goa is a five-star deluxe hotel located by Bambolim Bay in Goa, India. Designed in 1990, the construction of the hotel was started initially in 1995 by the Dynamix Group and thereafter on the formation of DB Group. Work was suspended in between for a few years due to a crisis in the real estate sector all over the country. During end 2005, the work was recommenced to complete the Project. On December 22, 2009 DB Hospitality signed an agreement with Hyatt International for 5 Hyatt hotels in India.The hotel was built at a cost of Rs. 5,500 million on 28 acres of landed property at Bambolim, North Goa. It is the largest Hyatt hotel in Goa, India.

Goa Medical College (GMC) is a public medical college and hospital located in Goa, India. It is one of the oldest medical colleges in Asia. The medical college is affiliated to the Goa University (GU), being its oldest unit.

The GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim is the first integrated athletic complex in Goa. It has been constructed according to IAAF specifications and norms and has hosted the athletic events of 2014 Lusofonia Games. The field is covered with natural turf and has been used as the training ground for the FC Goa developmental squad. In 2020, it was chosen as one of the three venues to host for 2020-21 season of Indian Super League.

K V Bambolim is a Kendriya Vidyalaya in the 3TTR, 5TTR and 2STC army camp, in Bambolim, Goa, India. Nested in the mountains of Bambolim, it has a panoramic view of the city of Panaji. The school has sports, academics and other curricular activities. Sprawling over seven acres of land, Kendriya Vidyalaya Bambolim Camp is situated in the surroundings of Bambolim in the Army Camp, near GMC, along NH-17, only 5 km away from Panaji. Started in 1984 up to class V, it caters to the educational needs of the children of defence personnels, state and central government employees and others. It is a double section school running classes from I to XII (Commerce and Science stream).

Goa Dental College is located in Bambolim near Panjim, Goa, India, opposite Goa Medical College. It has a hospital facility as well and is affiliated to Goa University.Courses offered include BDS and MDS; 50 students are enrolled in the BDS program each year.
