At the entrance of the neighborhood, one can see three stone carved statues playing musical instruments with a dog. Here is preserved the testimony of a huge man like creature who once inhabited the place and who was locally nicknamed 'Paulist'.

The Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Bambolim, Goa, India is a psychiatric hospital and part of the Goa Medical College (GMC). It deals with the treatment and investigation of mentally ill patients. Posting students in clinics and interns, as a part of the MBBS course, is also done here. It is approximately a kilometer away from GMC opposite Bambolim Church, a landmark.

Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium is an indoor stadium located on the campus of Goa University at Taleigao, Goa, India.The stadium was constructed for the 2014 Lusophony Games for events of volleyball and basketball. The stadium is named after Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee former Indian politician and the founder of Bhartiya Jana Sangh. The stadium has a seating capacity of 4000 and was inaugurated by Governor of Goa Bharat Vir Wanchoo in 2014.It cost 82 crore and was built in 11 months which is a record for the construction of an indoor stadium of international standard. With a 131-metre sheet, the stadium is Asia's first stadium which has the longest single-sheet roof. Facilities includes air conditioning, player change rooms and lounge, dope control and medical rooms, media centre, state-of-the-art-acoustics and parking facilities and maple wood flooring at playing field. The stadium can also be used for many non sporting events and it can accommodate any indoor sporting event played at the Olympics. Facilities include HD compliant arena lighting, Broadcast room, TV Studio, Player Dressing rooms, Match Delegates area, Dope control rooms, Medical rooms for players and spectators, VIP Lounge, Media Tribune and Media working stations, Press Conference area, Mixed zone area, CCTV camera and parking facilities.

Goa Medical College (GMC) is a public medical college and hospital located in Goa, India. It is one of the oldest medical colleges in Asia. The medical college is affiliated to the Goa University (GU), being its oldest unit.

Goa Dental College is located in Bambolim near Panjim, Goa, India, opposite Goa Medical College. It has a hospital facility as well and is affiliated to Goa University.Courses offered include BDS and MDS; 50 students are enrolled in the BDS program each year.

The GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim is the first integrated athletic complex in Goa. It has been constructed according to IAAF specifications and norms and has hosted the athletic events of 2014 Lusofonia Games. The field is covered with natural turf and has been used as the training ground for the FC Goa developmental squad. In 2020, it was chosen as one of the three venues to host for 2020-21 season of Indian Super League.

St. Cruz or Santa Cruz (formerly Calapor) is a village located next to the city of Panaji, capital of the Indian state of Goa. It is located on the island of Tiswadi, one of the talukas in the state of Goa.

Santa Cruz Assembly constituency is one of the original Goa Legislative Assembly constituency seats in the Tiswadi Taluka of North Goa District in the State of Goa. The other constituencies in Tiswadi are Panaji, Taleigao, St. Andre and Cumbarjua. Santa Cruz is one of the Ilha(s) (Island(s)), the other being Chorão, Divar, St. Estevam and Vaxim. The Portuguese conquered these lands as part of Velha Conquista and used it for spice trade principally and simultaneously for spiritual purposes this resulted in the establishment of Catholic faith in Goa. In 1547, the Portuguese missionaries established the Santa Cruz Catholic Church (also known by its direct translation of Holy Cross Catholic Church). Hence, this constituency has been named as Santa Cruz constituency. A landmark in Calapor/Santa Cruz is called Almacho Khuris (Cross of the Soul in Konkani). This monument was built to commemorate the death of a patriotic Calaporkar. Jack de Sequeira, widely known for his role in Goan statehood, held this seat between 1967 and 1980.

Goa University Library is one of the major libraries in the state of Goa, India. It houses an estimated 140,000 books and 300 journals. It also is home to special interest collections and rare and antique manuscripts, according to its official website.

K V Bambolim is a Kendriya Vidyalaya in the 3TTR, 5TTR and 2STC army camp, in Bambolim, Goa, India. Nested in the mountains of Bambolim, it has a panoramic view of the city of Panaji. The school has sports, academics and other curricular activities. Sprawling over seven acres of land, Kendriya Vidyalaya Bambolim Camp is situated in the surroundings of Bambolim in the Army Camp, near GMC, along NH-17, only 5 km away from Panaji. Started in 1984 up to class V, it caters to the educational needs of the children of defence personnels, state and central government employees and others. It is a double section school running classes from I to XII (Commerce and Science stream).

The Goa Business School is a 2019-launched school attached to the Goa University. It was set up following the amalgamation of four earlier-launched departments of the university—Commerce (established in 1988), Computer Science & Technology (1987), Economics (launched in 1968 through the Centre for Post-Graduate Instruction and Research at Goa and affiliated to then University of Bombay) and that of Management Studies (1988).
