St. Peter's Church is a Grade-II listed church located in Tollerton, Nottinghamshire, England.

Tollerton is an English village and civil parish in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, just south-east of Nottingham. Statistics from the 2021 census show the population of the village has increased to 2,486.

Plumtree is a village and civil parish in the borough of Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire. At the time of the 2001 census it had a population of 221, increasing to 246 at the 2011 census. It is situated 5 miles south east of Nottingham, between the villages of Tollerton and Keyworth. Some of the farming land around the village is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall (Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales). The parish church of St Mary has a Norman tower on Saxon foundations, which were found when the tower was rebuilt in 1906. The nave is of 13th-century date. The north aisle was rebuilt and extended with stone from Nottingham's medieval Trent Bridge in 1873. Edward Hagarty Parry (1855–1931), an association footballer who captained Old Carthusians F.C. when they won the 1881 FA Cup Final against Old Etonians, is buried in the churchyard.Plumtree Mill was a two-storey wooden post mill mounted on an open trestle raised on piers atop a mound. Derelict by 1907, it was burnt down c. 1930. The mound is still extant.Plumtree also has one of the leading cricket clubs in Nottinghamshire, being members of both the Nottinghamshire Premier League and 2012 Champions of the Newark Alliance. The club has invested over £180,000 in its facilities over the winter of 2012–13 with substantial grants from the England & Wales Cricket Board and local authorities.

It is situated 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) south east of Nottingham City Centre, and signposted on the A52 at Trent Bridge and on the A606—this makes it one of the closest airports to a city centre in the UK. The aerodrome is equipped for private aviation, business aviation and flight instruction. The airport primarily serves general aviation and has two runways: 09/27 and 03/21 which are 1,050 m × 30 m (3,445 ft × 98 ft) and 821 m × 23 m (2,694 ft × 75 ft) respectively. The longer runway is equipped with lighting for night flying, which operates during the winter flying season. Nottingham City Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P491) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Truman Aviation Limited).

Plumtree railway station served Plumtree in the English county of Nottinghamshire, on the Nottingham direct line of the Midland Railway between London and Nottingham, avoiding Leicester. The station is now closed, although the line still exists today as the Old Dalby Test Track.

Gamston is a ward, civil parish and a suburb of West Bridgford, in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 2,164. It is situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) south-east of Nottingham and is part of the West Bridgford/Meadows/Sneinton postcode of NG2. The parish of Gamston comes under Holme Pierrepont and Gamston Parish Council. Gamston is split into Gamston North and Gamston South wards of Rushcliffe Borough Council; Gamston North includes Holme Pierrepont And Gamston Parish Council and the current Councillor is Jonathan Wheeler. Gamston South runs from Morrisons down to Edwalton. The parish and also contains the parish of Holme Pierrepont and the village of Edwalton. The population of this ward also taken at the 2011 Census was 5,337. It is one of the nine wards in West Bridgford.Most of the homes in Gamston were built since the 1980s as part of the expansion of West Bridgford. The homes range from 2 bed bungalows and one bed terraces to 5 bedroomed family homes. The border between Gamston and Edwalton exists at the junction of Beckside, Melton Gardens and Alford Road. The West Bridgford border however is somewhat harder to ascertain, although the Grantham Canal provides a partial boundary in the North-West. The more recent housing estate off of Stavely Way, is however in West Bridgford. Pubs in the area include 'The Goose' and 'The Gamston Lock'. The modern centre of Gamston is based around Morrisons superstore, once Safeway; which now has a Chinese takeaway, vet surgery and pet store nearby, next to the community hall. Local secondary schools and colleges include Rushcliffe School, West Bridgford Comprehensive and Central College Nottingham, although none of these are located in Gamston. Local primary schools include Pierrepont Gamston School, Edwalton Primary School in Edwalton and Abbey Road Primary School in West Bridgford. In 2009, Gamston was proposed as the site for a 45,000 seat football stadium, to host games in the 2018 World Cup and Nottingham Forest football club, who have played at the City Ground in West Bridgford since 1898. Edwalton is an area of West Bridgford in the Borough of Rushcliffe, in Nottinghamshire, England, covering Gamston and the older Edwalton village. The population of the Rushcliffe Ward was 3,908 at the 2011 Census. A 2019 estimate put it at 4,892.

Clipston, or Clipston on the Wolds, is a small English village and civil parish in the south Nottinghamshire district of Rushcliffe. It lies between Cotgrave and Normanton-on-the-Wolds and is approached by narrow roads that offer views of neighbouring countryside. It has an area of 951 acres (3.85 km2) and a population of 50. This meant it was included with the civil parish of Tollerton in the 2011 Census.
