The Ficklin–Crawford Cottage was a historic house located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built sometime between 1865 and 1886, and was a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, frame dwelling with Gothic Revival style decorative details. It had a steep bellcast gable roof with deeply projecting eaves. It originally stood on the southwest corner of Belmont Avenue and Castalia Street, and moved to its final site in 1929.The house suffered a fire in October 1981, and the owner's insurance deemed it a total loss. Despite the damage, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 21, 1982. However, on November 24 of the same year, the city government granted the owner's request for permission to demolish the structure.

The Timberlake–Branham House is a historic home located in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built in 1886, and is a two-story, three-bay, single-pile I-house dwelling. It is sheathed in weatherboard and sits on a low brick foundation. It features a two-story semi-octagonal addition at the eastern end and a wing at the southwestern rear corner. The house is occupied by the Dabney Foundation for Elders. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The historic home listed as Lewis Farm, also known as The Farm and John A. G. Davis Farm, is located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built in 1826, and is a two-story brick dwelling with a low hipped roof and two large chimneys. On the front facade is a Tuscan order portico with a terrace above. The house was built by individuals who worked with Thomas Jefferson on building the University of Virginia. Its builder, John A. G. Davis, was law professor at the University of Virginia and was shot and killed outside Pavilion X by a student in 1840. During the American Civil War, Brigadier General George Armstrong Custer set up temporary headquarters at the house where he remained for three days.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Riverview Cemetery is a private cemetery located in the Woolen Mills section of Charlottesville, Virginia, at 1701 Chesapeake Street. Founded in 1892 as Charlottesville's two public cemeteries—Maplewood and Oakwood—were filling up, Riverview consists of about 50 acres overlooking a bend in the Rivanna River and has approximately 12,000 graves with room for about 7,000 more.

Belmont, also known as the Ficklin Mansion, is a historic home located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built about 1820 for John Winn by Jefferson brick mason John Jordan. Originally it had a center pavilion with lower symmetrical side wings but a second story was added to the wings by John Winn's son Benjamin Bannister Winn about 1840. It is a brick dwelling showing both Greek Revival and Federal details as it was built during the transition between the two styles. It features pedimented portico supported by four square paneled columns resting on a raised brick base.The 551-acre estate was sold at auction to Slaughter Ficklin in 1847 and he renamed it Belmont from the original Belle-mont and turned it into a renowned horse farm. In 1890 the estate was subdivided and is now the Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville. The house has been divided into apartments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Woolen Mills Chapel is a historic chapel located at 1819 E. Market Street in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Late Victorian building was constructed in 1887.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, and included in the Woolen Mills Village Historic District in 2010.

Piereus Store is a historic commercial building located at Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. It was built between 1835 and 1840 and is a two-story, two-bay, brick building measuring two rooms deep. It has a gable roof and a single story Victorian front porch. It is one of two houses remaining from the "Piereus" phase of industrial development along the Rivanna River.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Woolen Mills Village Historic District is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 12, 2010. The district is in Albemarle County, Virginia and also in Charlottesville, Virginia. Its area includes parts of Chesapeake, Franklin, Steephill, 18th NE, and East Market Streets and Riverside Avenue in the City of Charlottesville; and parts of Pireus Row and Marchant and East Market Streets in Albemarle County. The district includes Woolen Mills Chapel, previously listed on the National Register.

The Charlottesville Woolen Mills is an historic industrial site in Charlottesville, Virginia on which there was a working mill from the 1790s the 1960s. The mills were built, in part, on property once owned by Thomas Jefferson. Company leadership was unusual in offering assistance to employees of all ages to purchase properties for homes near the mill, leading to a neighborhood containing homes at various income levels. The neighborhood surrounding the mills is now known as the Woolen Mills Village Historic District.

House at Pireus is a historic home located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built about 1830, and is a small 1+1⁄2-story, two-bay, vernacular cottage. It sits on a full basement and has a hipped gambrel roof of standing seam metal. The house has a central stone and brick chimney. It was probably moved to its present location during the last quarter of the 19th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Michie Tavern (Pron: /ˈmɪki/), located in Albemarle County, Virginia, is a Virginia Historic Landmark that was established in 1784 by Scotsman William Michie, though in Earlysville. The Tavern served as the social center of its community and provided travelers with food, drink and lodging. It remained in operation, in the Michie family, until 1910, when it came to be owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia. In 1927, the Tavern was purchased by Josephine Henderson, who had it moved seventeen miles from Earlysville to its present location, close to Monticello.
