West Brick School

The Fobes-O'Donnell House is a historic house museum at 1221 Old Turnpike Road in Oakham, Massachusetts. Probably built in the second half of the 18th century, it served as a tavern on what was then a major through road, and housed the town's first post office. It is now operated as a museum by the local historical society. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

The Ware River Diversion is a dam on the Ware River. It is part of the Boston, Massachusetts public water supply system, maintained by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). It is located in Worcester County in the town of Barre, close to its border with Oakham.

The Oakham Center Historic District encompasses a portion of the historic town center of Oakham, Massachusetts. Roughly bounded by Coldbrook Rd., Maple St., Barre Rd., and Deacon Allen Drive, the area was formed as a civic center about 1770, with town incorporation following in 1775. It includes a well-preserved variety of early 19th-century residential architecture, as well as the town's Greek Revival Congregational church, and its 1908 library. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

The shape of the district was changed for the elections of 2012, after Massachusetts congressional redistricting to reflect the 2010 census. The new district covers central Massachusetts, including much of Worcester County, and is largely the successor to the old 3rd District. Most of the old 2nd district, including Springfield, has been moved into the new 1st district.

Tanner–Hiller Airport, (ICAO: K8B5, FAA LID: 8B5) in Barre, Massachusetts, is a public airport owned by the G&C Group of Acton, MA, who purchased the field from the Leonard A. Tanner Estate in May 2017. It has one runway, averages 30 flights per week, and has approximately 25 aircraft and hang gliders based on the field. During the summer months the airport is home to hang gliding operations and extensive ultralight activity. The airport sits adjacent to the Ware River and near to the town of New Braintree.

Magnificat Academy was a Catholic middle school and high school located in Warren, Massachusetts, which opened in 2005 in the Parish Hall and Rectory of St. Paul Church with 20 students. It was operated independent of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester. All students participated in the choir. The repertoire of the choir included Gregorian Chant, works of Palestrina, Bach, and Mozart as well as contemporary composers.The school closed due to lack of finances in 2008.

Quabbin Regional High School is a secondary school in Barre, Massachusetts, United States, for students in grades 9–12. It serves the towns of Barre, Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree, and Oakham. It also has a NJROTC program.
