The Adam Mickiewicz Museum (in French: Musée Adam Mickiewicz) is a small museum dedicated to Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz (1798–1855). It is located within the Polish Library in Paris in the 4th arrondissement of Paris at 6, Quai d'Orleans, Paris, France.The museum was established in 1930, and contains numerous personal effects as well as an archive including many autograph items. It occupies one room in the Bibliothèque Polonaise à Paris, which also houses the Musée Boleslas Biegas and the Salon Frédéric Chopin.Guided visits are available Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings by prior appointment; an admission fee is charged.

Bolesław Biegas (1877–1954) was a Polish, surrealist and Symbolist painter and sculptor. Biegas was born in Koziczyn, Poland and orphaned at a young age. He began studying sculpture in Warsaw in the studio of a local sculptor, Antoni Panasiuk, then studied art under Konstanty Laszczka at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. After being expelled for his sculpture The Book of Life, Biegas moved permanently to Paris, where he briefly attended the École des Beaux-Arts before beginning his independent artistic activity. From 1900, his works were exhibited in several Salons, including the parisian Galerie des Artistes Modernes and Galerie Arts et Artistes Anglais, and galleries in London, St. Petersburg and Kiev.Biegas also created a series of Symbolist style paintings, featuring mythical, monstrous and female chimeras, which symbolised a violent battle of the sexes.Biegas established a small museum for his art in 1950, in Paris, France, called the Musée Boleslas Biegas. It is located within the Polish Library in Paris in the 4th arrondissement of Paris at 6, Quai d'Orléans. The museum contains his own paintings and sculpture, as well as other Polish artists active from the end of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century, including Olga Boznańska and Tadeusz Makowski. The Salon Frédéric Chopin is a small museum dedicated to Frédéric Chopin. It is located within the Polish Library in Paris - Bibliothèque polonaise de Paris - in the 4th arrondissement of Paris at 6, Quai d'Orléans, Paris, France. Guided visits are available Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings by prior appointment; an admission fee is charged. The museum contains a number of Chopin's mementos, including his death mask and a casting of his left hand by Auguste Clésinger, several paintings, numerous portraits, autographs, first editions, and his favorite chair. The museum occupies one room in the Bibliothèque Polonaise à Paris, which also houses the Musée Adam Mickiewicz and the Musée Boleslas Biegas.

Berthillon is a French manufacturer and retailer of luxury ice cream and sorbet, with its primary store on the Île Saint-Louis, in Paris, France. The company is owned and operated by the Chauvin family, descendants of the eponymous Monsieur Berthillon, who from 1954 operated a restaurant called "Le Bourgogne".The ice cream shop became famous in 1961 when a French restaurant guide Gault Millau wrote about "this astonishing ice cream shop hidden in a bistro on the Ile Saint-Louis."Raymond Berthillon, founder of Berthillon, died on 9 August 2014.

La Tour d'Argent (English: The Silver Tower) is a historic restaurant in Paris, France. It is located at 15 quai de la Tournelle. It has a rating of one star from the Guide Michelin.

The Château de la Tournelle was a now-demolished castle on the left bank of the Seine in the 5th arrondissement of Paris on the quai de la Tournelle. The approximate site is now occupied by the La Tour d'Argent restaurant. After it were named the pont de la Tournelle and the quai de la Tournelle.

The Hôtel Hesselin, later known as the Hôtel d'Ambrun, was a Parisian town house (hôtel particulier), erected around 1639 to 1642 for Louis Hesselin to the designs of the French architect Louis Le Vau. It was located on the Île Saint-Louis, on the west side of the rue Poulletier at its intersection with the quai du Dauphin (now 24 quai de Béthune, 4th arrondissement of Paris). The hotel was demolished in 1935 by Helena Rubinstein, who had a new building erected to the designs of the architect Louis Sue.

The Pont Marie is a bridge which crosses the Seine in Paris, France. The bridge links the Île Saint-Louis to the quai de l'Hôtel de Ville and is one of three bridges designed to allow traffic flow between the Île Saint-Louis and the Left and Right banks of Paris. The Pont Marie links the Right Bank and is the counterpart of the Pont de la Tournelle which is built along the same line but serves to connect the Île Saint-Louis with the Left Bank.

The Institut du Monde Arabe, French for Arab World Institute, abbreviated IMA, is an organization founded in Paris in 1980 by France with 18 Arab countries to research and disseminate information about the Arab world and its cultural and spiritual values. The Institute was established as a result of a perceived lack of representation for the Arab world in France, and seeks to provide a secular location for the promotion of Arab civilization, art, knowledge, and aesthetics. Housed within the institution are a museum, library, auditorium, restaurant, offices and meeting rooms.
