Leipzig Olbrichtstraße station is a railway station in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany, located near Olbrichtstraße.

The Parthe is a river in Saxony, Germany, right tributary of the White Elster. Its total length is 60 km (37 mi). The Parthe originates in northern Saxony, between Colditz and Bad Lausick. It flows northwest through Parthenstein, Naunhof, Borsdorf and Taucha before entering the city of Leipzig. The Parthe joins the White Elster in northwestern Leipzig.

The Schillerhaus is a small former farmhouse in the Leipzig district of Gohlis (Menckestraße 42). Friedrich Schiller lived on the upper floor of the house in the summer of 1785. He worked here on the 2nd act of Don Carlos, edited the Fiesco and wrote the first version of the poem "An die Freude", which he later completed in Dresden. The building is the oldest preserved farmhouse in the Leipzig city area and a memorial that is a branch of the Leipzig City History Museum.

Leipzig Coppiplatz (German: Haltepunkt Leipzig Coppiplatz) is a railway station located in Leipzig, Germany. The station is located on the Leipzig–Großkorbetha railway. The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn. Since December 2013 the station is served by the S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland.

Gohlis is an area in the north of the city of Leipzig, Germany. Once a village outside the city, it is known as the place where Friedrich Schiller wrote the first version of his Ode to Joy in 1785. It urbanised during the Gründerzeit period of the 19th century and was incorporated into the city of Leipzig in 1890. Dominated by residential buildings from the late-19th and first half of the 20th century, Gohlis has a population of more than 45,000 inhabitants (2020).

Waldstraßenviertel (English: Forest Street Quarter/Neighbourhood), is a neighbourhood in the north west of the centre of Leipzig in Saxony, Germany. It is considered one of the largest complete areas of Gründerzeit buildings in Europe and is therefore considered of important cultural and heritage status. The 13th Panzergrenadier Division (13. Panzergrenadierdivision) was a mechanized division of the German Army. Its staff was based at Leipzig. The division was a unit of the German Army's stabilization forces and specialized on conflicts of low intensity and homeland defense. The division was Germany's permanent contribution to Multinational Corps North East.

The Krochsiedlung (also called Neu-Gohlis) is a 16-hectare residential development in the Neues Bauen architectural style in Gohlis, a district of Leipzig, Germany. It was built between 1929 and 1930 and was intended to be the first construction phase of a planned residential town. The residential buildings form a heritage-protected complex in Gohlis-Nord. The Krochsiedlung is one of the most important examples of the classical modern style in Leipzig.

The Rosental is a 118 ha (290 acres), park-like part of the northern Leipzig floodplain forest in Leipzig, Germany. It is bordered by the Elstermühlgraben (Elster mill ditch) to the south and west, the small river Parthe to the north and the Leipzig Zoo to the east.

Central Stadium (German: Zentralstadion German pronunciation: [tsɛnˈtra:lˈʃta:di̯ɔn]) was a stadium with a capacity of 120,000 in Leipzig which was initially used for matches of SC Rotation Leipzig. About 1.5 million cubic metres of debris from the World War II bombing of Leipzig was used in the stadium's construction. Its name derives from the Soviet "Central Stadium".

Red Bull Arena (German pronunciation: [ɹɛt ˈbʊl ʔaˌʁeːna]; formerly Zentralstadion [tsɛnˈtʁaːlˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn]), is a football facility located in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. It is the largest football stadium in the former East Germany and has also hosted music concerts as well as football. Opened in 2004, it is currently the home stadium for first-division club RB Leipzig, with FC Sachsen Leipzig having previously used the stadium from its opening until 2009. Due to UEFA sponsorship regulations, the stadium is known as the RB Arena for European matches.
