Sauge

Vauffelin (French pronunciation: [voflɛ̃]) is a former municipality in the Jura bernois administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is located in the French-speaking Bernese Jura (Jura Bernois). On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Vauffelin and Plagne merged into the new municipality of Sauge.

Bernese Jura (French: Jura bernois, French pronunciation: [ʒyʁa bɛʁnwa], German: Berner Jura) is the name for the French-speaking area of the Swiss canton of Bern, and from 2010 one of ten administrative divisions of the canton.Comprising the three French-speaking districts in the northern part of the canton, it contains 40 municipalities with an area of 541.71 km2 (209.16 sq mi) and a population (as of December 2020) of 53,715. More than 90% of the population of the three districts speaks French. From 1815 to 1979, the Bernese Jura comprised seven districts. Three of these seceded to form the canton of Jura in 1979, while a fourth, the Laufen district, joined the canton of Basel-Landschaft in 1994. Additionally, Moutier, a municipality, voted to secede from Bern in a referendum in 2021 and join Jura, with the change expected to be implemented by 2026.

Plagne (French pronunciation: [plaɲ]) is a former municipality in the Jura bernois administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is located in the French-speaking Bernese Jura (Jura Bernois). On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Plagne and Vauffelin merged into the new municipality of Sauge.

Biel/Bienne Bözingenfeld/Champ railway station (German: Bahnhof Biel/Bienne Bözingenfeld/Champ) is a railway station in the municipality of Biel/Bienne, in the Swiss canton of Bern. It is an intermediate stop on the Basel–Biel/Bienne and Jura Foot lines, although trains traveling south on the Basel–Biel/Bienne line from Grenchen Nord do not stop here. The station opened on 15 December 2013. In the planning stages, it was known as Bözingenfeld Ost railway station. The long name of the station is Biel/Bienne Bözingenfeld/Champs-de-Boujean.

Tissot Arena is a combined multi-purpose stadium and arena in Biel/Bienne, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. It consists of a football stadium, an ice hockey arena, an outdoor ice skating rink and a curling hall. It is currently used by Swiss Promotion League football club, FC Biel-Bienne and National League A ice hockey club, EHC Biel.

Pieterlen (French: Perles) is a municipality in the Biel/Bienne administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

The Bern University of Applied Sciences (BUAS, German: Berner Fachhochschule BFH, French: Haute école spécialisée bernoise HESB) is a public vocational university with a strong national and international profile. It comprises six departments and also incorporates the Higher Technical School of Wood, which is affiliated to the Department of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering.

Pieterlen railway station (German: Bahnhof Pieterlen) is a railway station in the municipality of Pieterlen, in the Swiss canton of Bern. It is an intermediate stop on the Basel–Biel/Bienne and Jura Foot lines, although trains traveling south on the Basel–Biel/Bienne line from Grenchen Nord do not stop here. It is served by regional trains only.

Safnern is a municipality in the Biel/Bienne administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Eisstadion Biel was an arena in Bienne, Switzerland and was primarily used for ice hockey, serving as the home of EHC Biel from 1973 to 2015. Bienne Eisstadion held up to 9,400 people, but due to safety concerns capacity was reduced to 7000 in later years.
