The Stone Arch Bridge, located near the intersection East Springfield Avenue and South Second Street in Champaign, Illinois was built in 1860. In c.2010, it was integrated into the design of the Boneyard Creek Second Street Basin, a flood control facility and recreational amenity which is located between First and Second Streets and Springfield and University Avenues.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Illinois Traction Building, located at 41 E. University Ave. in Champaign, Illinois, was the headquarters of the Illinois Traction System, an interurban railroad serving Central Illinois. Built in 1913, the building held the railway's offices and served as the Champaign interurban station until 1936; it later housed the offices of the Illinois Power Company, which descended from the Illinois Traction System. Architect Joseph Royer planned the building in a contemporary commercial design. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 20, 2006.

The Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity House was a historic fraternity house located at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. The house was built in 1924-25 for the university's chapter of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity, which formed in 1903. During its early years, the fraternity's members included several prominent university athletes. Architect Ralph W. Varney designed the building in the Tudor Revival style. The house's design reflected the formal Jacobethan subtype of Tudor Revival architecture, which could be seen in its extensive stone decorations on its brick exterior, such as quoins and oriels, and its steep gable roof with gabled dormers. Half-timbering, a common feature of informal Tudor Revival designs, was notably absent.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 21, 1990. By 2015, the chapter house was empty and the fraternity planned to build a new structure. The building was demolished in January 2018 to make room for an apartment building.

The Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity House was a historic fraternity house located at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. The house was built in 1906 for the university's Delta Pi chapter of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Architect E. G. Oldefest, a member of the chapter, designed the Tudor Revival building. The fraternity occupied the house until 1921, when the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity purchased the building. Tau Delta Phi purchased the building from Alpha Sigma Phi in 1929; it occupied the house until 1940, when the building became a private dormitory unaffiliated with Greek life. The building became a fraternity house again in the 1980s when it was purchased by Chi Phi.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 22, 1990. The building was demolished in 2020 to make way for a new apartment building.

The Henry Ahrens House is a historic house located at 212 East University Avenue in Champaign, Illinois. The house was built in 1893 for local businessman Henry Ahrens; it still remains in his family. Architect Seely Brown, who ran a well-regarded practice in Champaign, designed the Queen Anne house. The 2+1⁄2-story house has an asymmetrical plan with a multi-component roof that includes both hipped and gabled sections. The gable ends are decorated with patterned wooden shingles, which are also used on a porch gable and the hood of a three-sided bay window. The wraparound front porch is supported by turned columns; brackets with scalloped and half-circle decorations adorn the tops of the columns.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 22, 2011.

WPGU (107.1 FM) is a fully commercial, student-run college radio station on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. It broadcasts an alternative rock radio format and other programming throughout Champaign-Urbana and surrounding communities. It is owned independently from the university by the Illini Media Company.WPGU has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 3,000 watts. The transmitter is atop the Tower at Third apartment complex on South 3rd Street in Champaign.

The Beta Theta Pi Fraternity House was a historic fraternity house located at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. Built in 1912, the building served as a house for the university's Sigma Rho chapter of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, which was established in 1902. The house, along with the Kappa Sigma Fraternity House, established a new fraternity district to the west of the university campus. Architect Frederick J. Klein of Peoria designed the Classical Revival building. The three-story house had a two-story front porch supported by four Tuscan columns and four pilasters and topped by a balcony. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 1989.The house was used by Beta Theta Pi until 2017. The chapter was disbanded in 2018, with plans to put the house up for sale. The building was demolished in the fall of 2020. The chapter has returned to campus and a new chapter house was dedicated in 2023.

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity House is a historic fraternity house located at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. The house was built in 1907 for the Illinois Beta chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Founded in 1899, Sigma Alpha Epsilon was one of the oldest fraternities at the university. Architects George and Albert Dean designed the house, which combines elements of the Prairie School and American Craftsman styles. It is the university's only fraternity house to incorporate either style. The building's horizontal features, limestone caps and trim, and tall piers extending above the porch roof are characteristic Prairie School elements, while its exposed rafters and gable roof are inspired by Craftsman designs.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 22, 1990.

The Kappa Sigma Fraternity House is a historic fraternity house at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. The house was built in 1911 for the Alpha Gamma chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity; it was one of the university's first large fraternity houses. The fraternity was established in 1891; it was the first fraternity formed at the university after it lifted its prohibition on fraternities. Football coach Robert Lackey helped found the fraternity, and during its early years many of the university's best athletes were members. Architect Archie H. Hubbard, himself an early member of the fraternity, designed the house in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. The three-story brick building features a loggia on the two side facades and belt courses dividing the floors. The upper two stories of the building have distinctive diamond-patterned brickwork.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 1989.

The School of Information Sciences, also The iSchool at Illinois, is an undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. Its Master of Science in Library and Information Science is currently accredited in full good standing by the American Library Association. The school is a charter member of the iSchool initiative.

The Georgian is a historic apartment building located at 1005 South Sixth Street in Champaign, Illinois. Developer Roger F. Little, who also served in the Illinois General Assembly, had the building constructed in 1925. The building has a Georgian Revival design; the style was popular in Champaign, as it was the predominant architectural style on the University of Illinois campus. The three-story red brick building uses concrete and decorative brickwork in its details. The five-bay front facade features a three-bay projection about the central entrance. The main doorway features a Classical surround and is topped by an entablature and cornice. The windows above this entrance, which are offset and open to a staircase, have transoms and brick spandrels. Continuous concrete sills encircle the building below the first- and third-story windows, and a continuous lintel runs above the third story.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 2005.

The Senior Memorial Chime, known more commonly as the Altgeld Chimes, is a 15-bell chime in Altgeld Hall Tower on the central campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, in Urbana, Illinois, United States. The chime was a gift from the graduating classes of 1914 through 1921 and the United States School of Military Aeronautics. They first rang at the University's tenth fall homecoming on October 30, 1920, and have since marked the hours and been used for chiming concerts. The chime is run and maintained by the university's School of Music as well as student and local volunteers.
